More Christmas in July! this cute Snowman just in time to cool you off. A different way to do some shaving cream technique and a refresher on using bleach.
I loved this video Gail! You made me laugh so hard by your humor! I love the card, and you are very clever to figure out those steps! Think that is awesome! Thank You for the great video! Be safe & Many Blessings!
I am watching this for the 4th time, have bee bleaching snowmen, etc. thanks for all the great ideas, I keep trying the next one. Also thanks for the hint about the mr.clean eraser for cleaning blocks. this is under my daughter's name but I am Pat in San Clemente CA
Love the cards! (BAM!! That gnat was looking for a poinsettia! I get gnats occasionally because I love bananas and tend to get them overripe. Solution: put water in a cup, add a little apple cider vinegar, not white, a little Dawn dishwashing liquid, give it a stir, set the cup somewhere, and wait for the gnats try to feast! The vinegar attracts them and the Dawn sticks to their little feet and wings - and they drown. I know, PETA, but they’re gnats!)
Thank you! These darn gnats are not fruit flies they're smaller and don't go to my mixture that I have put out. They are driving me crazy .. LOL I'm getting faster at swatting them tho. hahahahaha
Cute cards, Gail! Love your ingenuity! I could never have thought up the things you continue to come up with! Thanks so much...love watching your videos!💕
i guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the account password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Robert Genesis thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
I've avoided the shaving cream technique because of the mess, but your way is definitely doable! Thank you for the tutorial! I always enjoy your videos.
Hi Gail, I love that technique used with the block ... nowhere as messy as the tray. Such a beautiful effect ... the cards are gorgeous ... Lynne in Victoria, Australia ... 🤗
Wow, your cards are amazing. I love the techniques you used today. Your door is stunning. I definitely want to make some. I really need to get the snowman set too. Thanks so much for showing us the fun techniques. I just love stampin up stamps, punches, and dies..
Beautiful cards! I saved an old wink of stella pen and it works great for the bleach. I have even filled it and you can leave the bleach inside and it doesn't damage the pen at all.
I love all of those! But I think my favorite is the shaded Spruce and crumb cake with the Snowman in trees. Great way to do the shaving cream technique. The last time I did it was 10 or 15 years ago and I did like 40 birth announcements for a friend with the paper plate method. I need to look up that snowflake paper. I did get the two feels like frost that I was able to get on the pre-order since I missed it last holiday Mini. By the time I was able to order it was gone so was the brightly gleaming. All I got was The Plaid and now I wish I had gotten two of those. I love that stacked stone paper and your door card. They're all really great!
Using shaving cream? That's a new one, never heard of it before! The snowman card may be a quick card, but it's lovely. So with the chlorine you're bleaching the background? AMAZING! Never heard of that technique either. Did you emboss the background of the Balmy Blue card? I like both backgrounds, actually. Besides, the darker background goes well with the snowman's scarf. I love snow, but what with the climate change, it's getting rare in the Netherlands. I love my Wink of Stella, I can barely remember how I lived without it ;-) The last card is great, with the steps, they look so realistic! I'm glad I don't have to make a choice!
Thanks Ineke! So glad I can introduce you to some new to you techniques. You can also stamp with bleach and I will be doing that again soon. Yes, I used the Winter Snow embossing folder which is very subtle embossing.
That is weird you have those gnat thingys cause I have them too. I don’t know where they are coming from. Maybe is a stampin up product we both have, lol! Idk! That’s funny! I never had those before!
LOL .. I'm glad you are learning from me. Trump is saving trafficked children all over the world but especially from here in the US. Did you know that infants are trafficked for sex? ua-cam.com/video/hMVHz-1I1zY/v-deo.html
