  • Join me and my buddies, Wes & Grey, as we paddled and camp down 49 miles of the Jacks Fork River near Eminence, Missouri. Today we cover about 23 miles and end up just below Van Buren, MO, for our second camping spot. #camping #kayaking

Thanks so much I’ve been on this river and it is beautiful and it makes me long to return. I appreciate how you kept the talking to a minimum and let the scenery speak great job.

Looks like a very good time with your friends man on the water. The second camp site was awesome man being on the sand bar. That was a very Close call getting into your canoe but i glad that you didn't get hurt while on the water man. I saw you had Trouble keeping your hat on man. The wind was bad that day. Can't wait to see the rest. I can't wait to get back on my Kayak man so i can be on the water. Florida has me very very busy with the Hurricane relief program. But i am doing i very good thing by helping Florida people rebuild there home so. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing it. I you are having a good weekend buddy.

@SouthernPaddler Thank you so much Dan. I just want to bless my heart for those people and help them out. I give a guy I saw walking barefooted 👣 my old pair of flip flops 🩴 I had in my truck 🚛 to wear. I felt bad about give him my flip flops 🩴 that had worn out smooth wide 4 toes footprint on the footbed of my flip flops 🩴. But he said he didn't care about how worn out the footbed was he just wanted some footwear on his feet 🦶 because he was a chubby dude like me. We was in front of a fast food restaurant so I got him & me something to eat & he told me about now he went through the Hurricane. He thank me so much Dan. I was just glad I could help him out & I told him that too. You have a good week buddy.

THE HAT! Been there... How would you characterize Jack's Fork compared to The Current?

Lol- the wind was pretty rough! :-D I'd say similar in the lower parts, but smaller, quicker and more shoals and turns in the upper part. We REALLY enjoyed the upper part of this river!!
