@@AdikMusicOfficialTM he's referring to an older version that was called sony acid pro 6. sony used to own acid, and now, magix owns it. he used the right terminology when referring to an older version of acid because sony was a part of that previous version's name

I've recently gotten acid studio 11. It's becoming easier to use as I'm learning and it was a pretty good price, but is anyone else having trouble with editing audio tracks? More specifically tempo. I've gone through the help guide & and have gone through multiple tutorials but that still doesn't fix my issue.

I just downloaded acid pro 10 from magix. Then I went to " help" downloaded the instruments and loops. Now how do I open the samples and use them in the timeline??? Help please!

I recently got Acid 10. I noticed that once I installed it any plug-ins I had in my previous music software (Acid 5) don't work anymore (I remember when I had Acid 4 and got 5, the plug-ins stopped working in 4). Is there any way I can get the plug-ins to work again in Acid 5?
Hi I currently have Acid 9 and am thinking about upgrading. Does Acid 10 have leveling tools built in to adjust the dbs and peaks? Acid 9 did not have this and I had to add an outside plug in. It was a real pain in the ass and I don't want to have to do it again.

Yes, back-compatibility is often supported.
I normally do not give negative comments to videos that I watch on UA-cam, however, since you are supposedly a company that specializes in making training videos; it surprises me that you would not vet the narration better than you did. Nevertheless, I will give you this ---it is better than a tutorial that doesn't use any narration at all which always annoys me.

How do you mix and master a song with this software?
I am a Logic Pro user that switched over to Sonar, but the class I am taking uses Acid Pro. I know how to use Sound Forge and Vegas so learning should not be a problem.
ACID is a little different than Sound Forge, since it is a complete DAW and not a simple audio editor. Your knowledge on Logic Pro should help more.

I miss Acid. It was my favorite DAW. I had it from way back with Acid 2 and then last year I bought a Mac. I don't want to install Windows on my Mac so goodbye Acid. I REALLY wish Magix would come out with a Mac version of Acid and Vegas. FL Studio has one, Cubase has one, LIVE has one and now I have to use them. Any chance that MAGIX will follow suit and release a Mac version someday?
Not sure if it will ever happen. MAGIX does not have video-editors on Mac, but only some audio editors such as SOUND FORGE and SPECTRAL LAYERS. Probably in the long future if we are lucky.

I have MIDI tone generator and Music Studio doesn't want to let me use that thing. When using a controller with the DLS voices, they come out delayed :|
It happens because you are not using a performant audio interface. Please enable ASIO and try again.

Acid 1 was life changing, agree this hasn’t changed much which is good and bad I guess, acid 1 was Steinberg look at Cubase these days wow plenty of artillery but not near as intuitive as acid was
It's the same as Pro 7 but 64 bit and fancy colors. It's worth it for the 64 bit.
why my tracks not playing?

Go to properties in your acid pro desktop icon, and 'always run as administrator', then you can drag n drop mp3's.
When exporting tracks, do they keep the tempo information if the project has multiple tempo? How do you export time maps? Thanks

I wish someone would compare this to FL studio. I don't know which to use. This seems less pro, but maybe easier to use.
Go with FL. This software is years behind what the industry standard DAWs are doing in terms of usability and features.
Just curious which features and usability this software is lacking? Trying to decide on DAW between this FL and Ableton and not finding much technical differences@@epycedits
They still haven't fixed the mixer and plugin GUI in the last 15 years? I left Acid in 2005-ish and it looks like nothing has improved since. Oh well. I'll check back in another 5 years and take a peek.

I agree it was a good tutorial --- but pronouncing MIDI every time as "em-eye-dee-eye" unnecessarily wasted half a second of my life every time she said it. So now I'm running a little late.
