How do you get the water balanced and clear of metal. I have been working for 2 weeks on ours and no luck. 3 different products used and ascorbic acid.

Removing stains from a pool surface may take some patience, but it doesn’t have to be difficult task. With the right mix of products and technique, you should be able to remove the metals and get back to enjoying the pool.
Removing metal stains is a 5 step process that includes: stain identification, lifting the stain, sequestering the metal, trapping the metal in the filter, and then cleaning the filter. It sounds like you have lifted metals off of the surface, but are having trouble getting the metals completely out of the pool. Since you have used ascorbic acid to lift the stain, you are probably dealing with an iron problem.
Once the metals are lifted, you have to sequester the metals to ensure they do not redeposit on the pool surface. BioGuard Pool Magnet Plus help tie up the metals so that the filter can remove them. However, if you pool uses a sand filter you might need help trapping the metals in the filter. BioGuard Sparkle Up is filter aid that has unique properties to help capture metals in the filter. Once the metals are trapped on the filter, simply backwash the filter and chemically clean the filter with BioGuard Kleen It to ensure that any trapped metals are removed from the filter bed.
After you have added Pool Magnet Plus and allowed the pool to circulate for a few hours, you can retest your water and balance if necessary.
