- Amidst the recent terror attacks in the Middle East, Paris and San Bernadino, CA, harmful generalizations regarding the Muslim population's involvement in terrorism have spread rapidly. ISIS's quest for global terror has further exacerbated these misconceptions, allowing the continued proliferation of global Islamophobia and xenophobia towards Middle Eastern individuals. In early February 2016, Reza Aslan spoke and answered questions regarding the actual relationship between radical Islam and terrorism at the University of Notre Dame. This event was presented by the Dean's Fellows of the College of Arts and Letters.

i only see my comment on this video when i am signed into youtube. i am a supporter of Aslan but i think this video should be boycotted in general by the youtube community if the person who posted this is going to screen comments. Unless they have a good reason for doing so? if yes, then i'd like to hear it...
reza is way over rated... he defends his ideology and self promotes . he never debates any one with similar credentials ...he never stands up for western or American culture.

It is shocking that a major American University would have such a known conman be treated with such deference. That he was invited to speak, with NO REBUTTAL OR OPPOSING VEIWPOINT, to impressionable young students is a travesty. This indoctrination of our kids is a crime.

The bible interpretation that is correct is the one that is scripturally backed.
I like Reza but him by saying anyone who says there a Muslim is a Muslim or any other religion isn't accurate as someone can be a Muslim who's gay believes in Jesus as God and I prey like Jews but if I say I'm Muslim I'm Muslim. 😂 joker
That's because you're assuming that Islam has a right or set of right interpretations. Reza, on the other hand, thinks that there is no right interpretation and that Islam is just what you make it.
