  • Why does Valve focus on irrelevant things?
    Hello, as you might have noticed once cs2 came out cheating went off the roof. The thing I wonder the most is how / why does valve allow this?
    Back in the days when CSGO came out, it wasn’t anywhere near the state where it was before CS2 launched. Valve had put in alot of updates and work in CSGO to make it as good as it was along the years and at least I didn’t face cheaters as trustfactor and overwatch somewhat mattered in the end.
    So called VACnet AI thing it did actually work a little when CS2 came out, you couldn’t spin as it would lead into match cancel and gameban. However, this was removed as people did something with their DPI to ”fake spin” and get banned.
    Reporting system is totally preposterous. You are able to report any player for griefing and when a player gets enough of those they get a cooldown for few days. Game doesn’t check it in anyway whether it’s reasonable or not.
    Due to new tickrate system, it’s totally fucking funny to die behind walls and in other mysterious ways.
    Now, they switched engine and launched a game with ton of bugs, not to mention the lack of implementing overwatch system or something similiar and allowing people to abuse cheat features that were patched in CSGO, why? To list some of them:
    Far ESP
    Rapid Fire
    Magic Bullet
    Nospread
    Teleportation exploit
    Anti-aim
    Server crashing
    Update by update, there appears more and more exploits. What’s next? Infinite ammo?
    Now we see updates by Valve into CS2 ”fixing map geometry” Why the fuck would we care about map geometry when gameplay itself is sluggish and experience is totally fucked due to cheaters?
    Note: I haven’t played the game for couple of months, I do not know whether some of these things has changed or not. I have been told its even worse than it was currently.
