Grandpa Gets Taken By Grandparents Scam

This is a reenactment of the "Grandparent Scam," one of the most reported scams to Better Business Bureaus (BBB) across the country, conning seniors out of millions of dollars every year. BBB created this video to educate and help protect consumers from being victims of this scam.

Wouldn't some convinience stores/gas stations/anywhere they sell prepay vouchers be briefed on this scam and advise those that may be subject to a potential scam?
If an elderly guy buys loads of itunes vouchers/etc, it does come across as a little suspicious though.

I'm single & never had kids👨 or grandkid🧒, if they called me☎️😉, I would go along with it like I did. Get emotional😫 & say I'll send the money💸 right away & do nothing. When they call📞 again, I'll just say, while on my way to the bank🏦, I got into a car accident🚘💥🚗, sent to the hospital🏥 then off to jail☹ for drinking🍺 & driving🚘. My driver's licence was takin away😲, now I don't have a way to get to the bank🏦. I'll make one excuse after another...😀😁😂🤣

Same thing happened to my mother. She wired four thousand dollars. She felt so bad when she found out she was scammed.

My mother in Texas was told to go to Walmart and buy a pre-paid card to claim a sweepstakes prize. She did it 2 times.

This happened to my Uncle last week Feb. 2017 $8400.00 , its gone and he will never get it back.

That actor looks a bit too young to be his grandfather. This grandfather only looks to be around 60 years old, and I'm assuming his grandson is around 20 years of age, which would've made him a grandfather at around 40 years old. Although many people do become grandparents at around 40, it's uncommon.
