Espio is fast - (Animatic)

I was pretty surprised when I found out hes the speed character in Sonic Heros, and its actually cannon that he could run just as fast as Sonic and Shadow

Cause Espio isn’t as popular probably-
But he’s the only character that can do the roll other than the hedgehogs so- that’s gotta mean something

He can also perform a cyclone spin as well, in both his debut on the 32x, and a few rare times in the comics.
(Espio himself also mentions that he can *probably* reach the same speeds as Sonic and Shadow, but lacks the instant acceleration the other 2 have)
