Our Best Harvest Video - New Holland CR10.90 & CR9.80

- This video shows our New Holland CR10.90 and CR9.80 in our last wheat field of Harvest 2018. Our other New Holland CR9.80 was on another part of The Estate, finishing off some spring barley and oats. It would have been great to have all three together for this last harvest video but it just didn't work out.
This is the earliest we have finished our harvest in a long time. This year we started on 19th July and finished on 2nd September. Apart from a week of bad weather in the middle, we've been enjoying blue skies and warm temperatures. Between our pair of New Holland CR9.80 combines and our New Holland CR10.90, we've cut 2,894 hectares (7,151 acres) of crop and brought in 18,792 tonnes of grain.
As far as harvests go, the weather has been kind and the machines have performed well. We've certainly had a years that have been a lot tougher!

Thank you. These roads are some of our private farm roads. The header trailers follow the combine perfectly around the corners - they are amazing trailers!

We thought the same thing after watching it back, but its just chaff. We checked!
Do the. Combine drivers go onto the drilling once they finish combining.
We have a team already drilling. All of our OSR is drilled and we've started drilling wheat today. We always have loads to do on The Estate
started drilling wheat?? and you harvest it itill september? In belgium we don't drill wheat before aprox 10 /10 (due to chance of frost, lice)barly can start the last weak of september here.

Thank you. Yes - our fleet of Claas combines have been sold and we've moved over to these New Holland machines. Our Claas fleet was 14 years old and it was time for a change.

How drive combine cr 10.90
Its like Christmas you just keep on giving. Also 18,792 tons of grain! Do you guys store it on the estate until you sell or do you sell right after harvest
We store everything on farm except for the spring barley. That goes pretty much straight away. We control when we sell everything, which allows us to work with the market and get the best price possible.

Thank you! Our biggest field is 58.62 hectares, or 144.85 acres.
I see you got you combines from Websters are you triling them? Would you not just get case axel flows from farm star now your back on case as I'm guessing they are exactly the same like the tractors
Hi Andrew. The combines are ours - we bought them new this year. The Case combine is quite a bit different to the New Holland.

No chaser bin that tells me that if you don’t use one there not worth useing
Chaser bins are a waste of time and money, what's the point? 2 tractors and 20 ton trailers should keep up with those 2 combines? Depending on how far you have to cart it? Maybe add a 3rd one if needed? With there acreage they can justify it!
Wait until next year... we may be changing a few things... :-)
