Galadiel, that's so beautiful! I think I want to hear this song!!!I'm not an artist *sigh* but I do appreciate so much art, and I feel all these emotions you're describing while watching SDJ directing, it's sooo touching!
twelfthnight1 nooo...don't cryyyy... :))) I think I see your point, but I've always respected what he says :"I'm an actor, I act". Tha's very humble and wise. I guess he mostly chooses what he loves when it comes to stage, what he likes for tv roles and what they offer for cinema...unless specific, lucky cases...
Thanks for the great upload. Do you know if this staging of Hamlet was filmed, and if so where it might be found? I'd love to see the whole thing, to see how Branagh differs when directed by Jacobi vs directed by himself.
Yes, that's Patrick Stewart narrating :) I'm not that fond of KB's acting while talking about Hamlet, not my favourite one. But in all his other interpretations are quite good to me. Loved him in Much ado about nothing and Wallander too.
Is that captain Picard that is narrating? Anyways, I don't know much about acting, but I've always found KB's acting pretentious, completely over the top and manic, as if he's about to unload a giant turd and hence all the shouting and running about
I actually think it's unpretentious in its child-like enthusiasm, and I sort of wish more people would get into that mindset instead of taking themselves so seriously and being so grave about everything.
Yes, I perfectly understand your point of view...it's quite magic watch them working together!
That's so true...I think KB's a great director, I love his work, and I always thank him for have "used" SDJ in his movies... :)
He is...I love how he mutters Branagh's part while directing he's so funny :)
Haha. Poor Sir Derek. He has to give his ideas away! Sounds like a real actor!

Grazie! :)
That's fantastic to see a fellow-countrywoman(I think :p) that knows both these two fantastic actors!
