In this video I demonstrate how I fixed the on/off throttle response vibration in my bronco. I also upgrade the oil pump bracket so that it is not prone to eat through the case.

Thanks for the video , you may think to add "pump rub" to your description to help get more views

Excellent and very detailed video. I was wondering if you have an m5r2 or a zf5 and if you could possibly take a photo of the 4x4 shift linkage on the transmission. I am in the middle of a manual swap and am struggling to assemble this part

I had the same issue, it turned out to be loose pinion flange nut.

After you tightened it, did the vibration completely go away?

Great video. I rebuilt my 1356 several months back and as much as I read up on the rebuild process I never heard or seen the mopar shim being added to the output shaft.
I did a quick google search and cant seem to find them, where did you buy your shims from?

I lucked out and found a NOS kit on ebay, just searched and the seller no longer has them. The mopar part link is in the description but they don't stock them anymore either, that is why I measured them so if someone needed them they could try and source them by size. Good luck, they were definitely hard to find.

@@scrapmetalmade Thanks for the reply. I found some but they arent a mopar part i think its aftermarket but should work just the same. www.allstategear.com/NP203-Shim-Kit-p/15128.htm

@@felipeguerrero727 I bought the shims and I have another transfer case in my storage ready to be rebuilt but I haven't had the time to do so right now, but once I do I'll try to remember to update this post.

how many miles at this repair? Stretched chain, but pump arm wear doesn't look too bad

@@scrapmetalmade thanks for getting back, I ended up ordering the knipex 4611 a3 pliers on amazon for $27. Rated up to 100 mm rings, fingers crossed they work well.
