- We made the decision to donate our gelding, Suni, to an AMAZING organization called Saddle Up!

I can't wait to see you working with him and the kids. I am a retired Nurse and I took care of special children. I took them weekly to a place like that. I could hardly believe how quickly the kids and the horses responded so positively with that type of therapy. You have done a great thing donating him for the cause. I wish him years of happy trails!

Best therapy horse I ever had the pleasure of working with , show horse , 12 , hurt , but had a magic to him , walked around all day with kids , he got fat and happy loved on forever and a day !! He was so gentle and calm !
Thank you for sharing and donating your beautiful horse. Many years ago I worked at children's home as a riding instructor. Children learned how horses were helping them in so many ways. Many blessings ❤

My paint show horse does the same he's at a therapeutic center right next door to me and he was sitting in the pasture not doing much but he loves the kids ❤ but hes a good size for the adults which they needed , sunny will love it !

I used to volunteer there!!!!!!!!!! They are in a different location now, but I volunteered there when they were in Liepers Fork, TN. (I was only 16 at the time and if you are under the age of 18 you can only lead the horse, they have a "spotter" on the side to help the rider.). I absolutely LOVED going there and I have considered going again.
Oh my gosh, I just looked at their website and it has changed SO MUCH since back then. It has been at least 20 years since I had the pleasure of helping. It was incredible though. For both the rider, and myself.

My horse was from a therapeutic kids summer camp in Mexico then he got put in a kill pen and my mom rescued him he was a purebred mustang and he lived to be around 38

I’m so happy that Sunny is getting to be loved after he’s retired from showing. I love that you chose to let him continue to be loved instead of having him put down.
He wasn't going to be put down anyway. Horses like this are worth their weight in gold.
