Not really...there are an infinite number of Sean's running around in different realities. And in the one where Coulter ends up, he would have died anyway. So one life (Sean's) for everyone on the train in that reality...and Sean also gets to live on in alternate realities (assumes there are some where for one reason or another he did not take that train).
I'd like to think that Colter and Sean's consciousness merged. To the viewer we think that Sean is a completely new consciousness that took over, but in that reality it could be that they were actually the same or similar and thus merged together. Which is why they would have became one. Like some other consciousness just unknowingly slides into your soul/conscious being to become one entity. xD

I've seene this movie before. In my memory, the last scenes where the woman in the military gets a message from him indicating that even though his body's dead he is still alive in the parallel world.
Right. Although I think the lady who received the text should be from his new reality instead of original reality where she helps him. I don't remember if she actually recognised him or not, but I do recall that this scene exists.
So every time he “went back” he was being sent to a different parallel universe where his consciousness was hijacking some other guy’s body? But the military didn’t know they were parallel universes? What did they think was happening? How do you accidentally send someone’s consciousness to another universe?

It doesn't make sense how that technology would had constructed a whole world beyound the host vision. What i mean is the Lady said he was seeing shadows but he actually was seeing everything in full detail. You would see shadows or afterimage out the corner of your eye when not focusing on something. It seems like they used everyone eyes to make the entire reality which would explain why he was able to go off the train and see things in details that his host might had never seen. Almost like he ascended to a 4th dimensional being. You could think of it as having multiple eyes all around and beyound that creates one big image/reality like what our current 2 eyes do.
Hands down one of the greatest obscure movies out there in recent memory. It sets you up to think that at the end, coulter is going to die on the last mission and Goodwin is essentially just granting a dying man a last request. Daaamn, all of these 2010's movies just hit me hard, weirdly enough (Source Code, In time, The adjustment Bureau) We used to had this idea that "if you play your cards well enough, you can be able to change the destiny others want to impose you". Honestly this was such a good movie + massively appreciate the originality of the plot/excellent casting/execution of the story telling during the film. I’d like to see more studios bringing movies like this to the big screen, especially with all the advancements the industry has made over the years. Could even be set up for a sequel that dives further into the them (bonus points if they bring Jake Gyllenhaal’s character back as a character aware in the loop to pass on information about the program to a new protagonist or n said sequel). I watched this when I was a kid, and I loved it.
What’s the name of this movie?
@@abu-omaral-bakr392 the video literally says it at the beginning, Source Code. worth a watch
Imagine being hit with a ied and still conscious and don’t realize your missing everything from the waist down
This happened to a young man in a forklift accident.
He's on UA-cam.
I loved that movie. This is the very definition of the Would've could've should've.
Thank you so much for this 👏👏👏 its sooo good to remember how a film went
I love how sometimes the voice syncs with the people in the movie
for once, I saw the movie you speak off, and I am reassured by the fact that as I thought, your review are quite accurate and consistent, it's not like watching the real movie for sure but still very satisfying as an alternative
this and inception were some of the favs growing up
10:20 - No, no we really wouldn't. I didn't enlist for eternal life and military service, I just wanted to get rid of student debt.
He's a hero. God said "You fought once.. You fought twice.. I'll give you a second chance."
bro what would i do without u man....iam literally watching every video on every channel and i cant get enough
This sorta reminds me of ID:Invaded which is a mystery sci-fi anime following an investigator who gets sent in time to look for killers etc. Was really good and the beginning of this movie recap reminded me of it is all.
Daaamn, all of these 2010's movies just hit me hard, weirdly enough (Source Code, In time, The adjustment Bureau) We used to had this idea that "if you play your cards well enough, you can be able to change the destiny others want to impose you". That feeling of "fighting against the entire universe just to be able to change your own destiny" feels good to me :P (especially with that 2010's style)
This actually looks like a great movie. I'm going to rent it. Thank you.
one of the most underrated films of all time
One of the most underrated scifi movie
I love this channel. It brings to my attention movies that I'd be unaware of otherwise.
Pls do ‘enemy’ 2013 it has the same actor as this one
2:31 LMFAO thats Russel Peters. Is this related to his joke about Terrorist listening to his instructions on his headphone?
This was a great movie
Time and time travel has always carried a facination for me. This is a good film!
Soo... he died in 1 parallel universe but survived in the other realm? Yeah! Good movie
Painfully underrated movie! So awesome to see it featured on the channel!
4:57 lol *sad face*
The guy suspected of being a threat as he comes out of train washroom is the same guy that has been alleged to have been a threat to upwards of 40 women and underaged girls. Used to be a well known Martian space pilot from the future.
The Expanse fans will understand what I'm talking about.
I love this film, so I was really happy to see that you have recapped this film!
Welp...glad this was recommended. Love that ending
I don’t know if it was pure coincidence that you recapped this or if you took my suggestion the other day but either way I’m glad you did!
This is like when you fill in the mission so many times in a game
Honestly this was such a good movie + massively appreciate the originality of the plot/excellent casting/execution of the story telling during the film. I’d like to see more studios bringing movies like this to the big screen, especially with all the advancements the industry has made over the years. Could even be set up for a sequel that dives further into the them (bonus points if they bring Jake Gyllenhaal’s character back as a character aware in the loop to pass on information about the program to a new protagonist or n said sequel). Movies easily a 9/10 for me
Aw another relaxing video, feels like I watched the whole movie!
Speed meets Quantum Leap meets Groundhog Day. Love it!
