Ik, they just killed off Linda Memari and now probably Stan's dad. That's two in one season. And Family Guy had Angela and Mayor West die but they had no choice for them because the voice actors died.
Edit: At least Linda wasn't really killed off and Jack is still around as a ghost.

@@badmotorfinger1706 I say basically American Dad took over family guy when it came out. The first few seasons of family guy were great but by the time American dad came out in 2004-2005 family guy was on the decline. Thats my opinion. Plus American dad has no annoying cutaways or repetition gags.

@@codykirk2818 Cody? That is precisely why I prefer American Dad still and hate Family Guy now. AD has more relevant gags and fascinating storylines to go with them. FG's cutaways became a crutch for them and annoyingly repetitive is spot on indeed.

Actually I'm very curious on why they sort of destroyed Stan's father even though he is Krampus but they never really used him that often. Which I guess is a scrap the idea Stan's father being Krampus and taking over Christmas. Which I thought was a neat idea and I wish we seen more of him and seen more of him actually try to be a better father by punishing stand for everything he's done

Yeah this show has really gone downhill. I hate how stupid and non-concrete the characters are nowadays and how since the latter half of Season 15, the show has been putting in so much weird and randomness into the plots. It’s gotten to the point where I question why I even tune into the episodes anymore. Hopefully the show doesn’t decline further, or better yet, improves.
I agree. Remember when Roger was the only unreasonable one? The whole family is being dumbed down. F**king Hailey is just another stupid rip off of rodger now with no character. Looks like this show is going the way of Family Guy. Very disappointing to see.
@@mrbrian826 I agree it is going the way of family guy as far as the characters. But unlike family guy, i still find the episode plots great. Ya there is alot of randomness but it works. American dad has always been random but it works. Its hilarious lol. I also like that there are virtually no cutaways like in family guy. And i actually like the new version of hayley. And klaus is my fav. Hes always getting shat on by the family.
I also realized that Jack and a have a soft spot for Steve it seemed like I mean other than this episode he can a showed like he genuinely cared about his grandson. I mean this episode obviously it shows damage but I mean he was also desperate as he didn't have a body anymore. I would love to see them together in a ventures where Jack actually has a soft spot for his grandson and he actually shows more affection than he did with stan.
