Wow, I am so happy to see Verdine actually playing bass without all the antics, just grooving in the pocket like he used to. I thought he couldn't do that anymore. Thank you for posting that.
The antics that made him less focused on playing the bass and laying it down. I'm a Verdine fan too but if you have checked you the EWF videos on UA-cam you must know what I'm talking about@@BassGod1225
@@djpanrasdaversiteoldschool8912 Funny! I’m listening to them, well, EWF, right now!!! My FAVORITE EWF song is “Love Music,” which is what I am listening to as a form of being EDUCATED!!! Wow! The composition AND vocals are out of this WORLD!!!! The BASS LINE is intoxicating!!!
Such an amazing live version. Brings back MEMORIES when living in the projects when my sister and I would clean the apartment and she would spin this on the turntable. EWF is the greatest band in my book for R&B, rock it's RUSH.
"Who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS!" Still can't get my head around the fact that Ray Parker jr. Is a bad ass guitarist, And huge on the session scene. Great performance by everyone.
His fame in the ghostbusters movie overshadowed his real job which is a guitarist and a funky one at that playing in the Motown house band back in the day making hit records! Check out the clip on here where he is playing with ready Freddie Washington on bass and he speaks about his career as a guitarist as his main vocation .
Sometimes one talent can overshadow your main talent. Similar thing happened to George Benson. Most people associate George Benson as an amazing vocalist/balladeer when he is actually one of the greatest guitar players ever. I had friends who went to see George Benson in concert and said to me that they were amazing to see how good George Benson was on the guitar. All because they knew him as a good singer.😅
@@sabin97 Earth Wind and Fire have been part of my life since disco in the 70s. I listen to them every week along with certain jazz that I grew into as I got older.
This performance/practice session is an amazing treasure of this event! Thank you!! Verdine, Steve Jordan and Ray Parker are killing...is that Bruce Willis in the audience? ❤🙏
If Verdine White is in the room, All Is Well In The World.
Brother Verdine 🙏🪷
The 70's were a wonderful time, musically.
Yes they were......I was a youngster but it was a time I will always remember and cherish.
Peace and love.🎶🎶🎶
Absolutely! You HAD to be talented in order to get it done!

What antics are you talking about?

I LOVE LIVE MUSIC!
Man! I love how that simple bass line keeps the song and just solidifies it, in my opinion.
Exactly triads
