The Prius V is amazing. I have an 09 standard Prius, my wife has a 13 V. It's got what feels like minivan space inside (really more like an SUV) while not being specially larger outside. And her car gets the same or slightly better MPGs than mine! Shame on Toyota for discontinuing the V in favor of the more expensive (and less thrifty) RAV 4 hybrid!
I just bought one of these cars. It will be replacing an old minivan -need the space but wanted to reduce fuel consumption. You have to go for a test drive to appreciate how much room there is in this car.

Not an identity. Get a grip. You know, if I don't like a car, I don't go watch videos about it and bash the car. I keep what I think to myself unless someone asks my opinion. You should do the same, the world would be a better place.
With the tomblike center console of the 5-door gone, the V has room for a tall guy's right leg now. I'm getting one ASAP. The radar option will pay for itself the first time you use it and avoid an accident on crammed highways and streets.

But you don't understand. It is not about the car it is about where it is built and what brand it is. Europeans, love to diminish the other non-european quality products including American made ones, instead of increasing their products quality. So most of these hate comments is about the psychologic aspect of the economical wars between cheauvinistic europeans and others. Go check the hybrid car tests of Mercs and BMW's you will not find any negative comments about hybrids.:)
@studiobjack They could, but then it might destroy the entire purpose of the car. Aerodynamics are the main reason this car looks like it does. "...but it's still burning dinosaurs and expelling CO2." Yeah, let's just ignore that it burns about HALF (or less!) of the fuel that a typical passenger cars does. Also, the exhaust from this car is so clean that is can actually (you can search this quote), "...actually be cleaner than the air you breathe in smoggy urban areas."
Yes it's very ugly but this will sell really well just like the Prius. Rising gas prices and bigger families will be sold on the larger interior. Who needs speed when you're in traffic?
13 y/o comment lol. I think this car is beautiful. Even more elegant looking though, is the Sienna hybrid. I can't even afford the cheapest Sienna hybrid on the market unfortunately. This'll have to do for now :)

@soyntgo4it The latest Insight is a joke, the Prius outperforms it in every way possible. The CR-Z is slow, there is no other way to put it. Honda had much faster AND more fuel efficient 4 cylinder cars in the late '80s and early '90s. Honda is falling behind in a lot of ways and they don't even seem to care.

I counted how many Prius' I saw the other day, and I saw 72 Prius' in about 3 hours of being out...they need to be stopped.
