Great video. Watched it a few times to really understand what you were conveying to make full sense of it all. For me, learning point is the trading plan when it’s not going so well as hate a losing trade position but an area I need to better accept and plan for. Cheers again Caan
As a former owner of a trading football service it`s good to see you more involved with this sport and observe your particular style of trading. Unlike you I never got the hang of trading the nags! I focused mainly on CS market but would always jump on a position that in a way relates to this video and the question of time decay. A team that is leading 3-0 is the entry point where I would back that score (or lay O3.5). The time delay of another goal being scored is by far greater than with any other scoreline imo. Sorry no data to quantify that but a useful tip nonetheless. The reason generally being that the leading team takes its foot off the gas so to speak while the losing team settles for damage limitation.
I've been trying to work out a 60 minute strategy. The odds are about 3-4, normally about 3.2 and you can about double your money if a goal is scored before the 78th minute, but's it' very difficult. I haven't figured it out yet but I believe it's a good strat if you have live stats or you're watching the game.
@@CaanBerryProTrader The return on investment is worth the risk as many goals go in inside the 60-80th minute, you need about a 50% win rate to be in profit as you typically double your money and lose about 75% of your stake if no goal at about the 78th minute mark.
If 0:0 at half time ,backing both to score ,odds around 3.Combining that in a double or triple combination situation... Double trebles four folds is what i think works -with odds 2 and up..
I am a currency and commodity trader and have recently begun to apply risk management principles in sports books. What a difference it makes to analyze risk properly rather than go on hunches or gut feelings. Great content mate. Thanks
Your right I lose a game before this video.after watching this video I won my money back guarantee Wonderful.i think from now on we can cut of 60 percent of losing games to profit.
Just an idea maybe do a UA-cam podcast or do super chats as you got lot of information and it be good to hear you answer questions, I do in play trades but it be good to have more in play information to help with in play trading.

Thank you for your video. Really you give me hope to learning trading. Unfortunately i have not realy good situation to buy your video pack . But who knows whats happens later.
Nice video , currently playing through a lot of your vids mate, i was what the pro's would call dumb money. Im learning though, thanks for the info. Subscribed.
2.5 market is my preferred choice. So much liquidity. I disagree with quite a bit on this vid. After years of recording my own data on the 2.5 market I get double figure ROI over a season on European games. I find value but using math and looking outside the box. I don't trade, just bet on each match before the off. Caan is right in what he is saying but he approaches these market in exactly the same way as a bookmaker makes their prices and how punters are looking for value. There will be some value but it is much devalued because this is such a common approach. Going against the crowd is the best way to find a profitable system using value in football markets. Enjoyed this video though as I love this market.
Premier League is completely bucking the trend, almost all other leagues around the world behind closed doors (and I trade pretty much all) are down on goals per game. Hopefully it will bounce back - but if not we will have to tweak a few systems!
There's a lot more away wins esp in Germany when the football restarted. For example I got 4/1 on Brighton to beat Liverpool at Anfield last week. Was tempted to cash out but held my nerve.
Hi mate! When calculating EV! Can it work if you take the H2H game average and say it’s average of 2 goals in their games over 20 matches! 70% of the times they have 2 goals scored and conceaded. You buy at odds at 4.0! This would give you a positive ev? Have I calculated it right?
Great video as always Caan, i have traded loads of under/over 2.5 overall i think i am just bad at it lol i use goal profit for the live inplay stats also take motivation and historic stats into account all but i always seem to be on the wrong side of the trade so ill back under 2.5 as theres no action in the game and overall low scoring teams but its my luck they have one shot at the goal in the first 10 minutes and thats the shot that goes in lol, rest of the game stays dead i am still learning though trying to get that right entry point seems to be tough as theres no many factors involved
Good video.. Can you put under 2.5 goals and when your in profit place another bet at over 2.5goals so your guaranteed profit either way? Or would it just be worth backing and then cashing out after profit?
Absolutely great video, new to the channel from being recommended from one of your subscribers, looking forward to more videos and hoping for some winners Keep up the great work

Yes, Dean. Discipline is massive. Without it you have nothing! Sadly many people focus their strategy on other areas and think the answer is knowing all the details on the match, which obviously helps, but isn't the answer if you can't control that twitchy mouse finger!
Cheers caan great video - I was just wondering to you ever see significant activity in the market that can be traded around the average first goal time due to the fact that a lot of people use the same statistics or do people using those stats make up an insignificant portion of the overall market?
@@CaanBerryProTrader for example everyone knows say villa and leeds avg first goal is around 25 mins then in the run up to that time in game you see significant movement as everyones doing the same thing - ie: everyone backs 1.5 goals from 20-25 mins making the price drop
its interesting to look into but on the big picture any game could be 0-0 or 4-4 you just dont know its all about luck , dont matter what time a team scores during a game in the past , amount of games where 2 teams have been involved in 2-1s , 2-2s , 3-2 every week and the game turns out to be 0-0 or 1-0 its very frustrating ..

So will I be able that the odds given to me is sure win (1X2)
I believe the "what if" tends to be the field where people really mess up when trading the goal markets. Most people totally panic.
Of course. Losing traders don't prepare enough most of the time. Of those who do, they then struggle to stick to the plan...

Ok thanks for the feedback Paul, will skip it out in future.
Very helpful and informative as I regularly place over 2.5 goal bets. Thank you Caan
I usually place on 1.5 but 2.5 is definitely better as it gives an exit opportunity even in case of an early goal

It's very difficult this days due to the spectators not available in matches so teams score a lot of goals
Lack of spectators are certainly changing statistics. If you compare them there is a vastly different scoring rate now...
