It’s a horse race with a difference - there wasn’t a real horse in sight. But it didn’t stop a festive-spirited crowd horsing around at London’s annual Pantomime Horse Race.
The London Pantomime Horse Race is one of the capital’s most unique Christmas charity events and a typically British eccentric happening.
The streets of Greenwich are transformed into a course for comical cantering ponies as costumed participants race from Devonport House (start of the race), stopping off at various pubs, and “pit stops” along the way to the finish line.
