I've been making trap music for 5-6 years and I've been wanting to get into big room techno. I'm seeing you use spire, nexus and serum. I currently have vital and omnisphere, but to be honest, I want to learn to use presets before I start designing my own sounds for this genre. What synth and preset packs should I get? Spire seems to have some nice preset packs.
I'd highly recommend Serum, not just for big room techno, but for literally everything. There are thousands of presets for it for every single genre. For Preset Packs to go along with that, Revealed themselves have some amazing ones. Olly James has a few in his Rave Room Recordings Big Room Techno Vol.2 pack, mostly samples but the few presets are sick, definitely a great place to start. Maddix also has a fantastic sample and preset bundle that even has a tutorial for his sound. R3SPAWN just put out a big room techno bundle through 789Ten which is good. Standalone-Music (7 Skies) has a great one, there's plenty out there mate! Excited to hear what you come up with!

Yeah I just noticed that too. Usually you see a really thin clip under. Looks like you have to lock the pattern to do that (hold shift and left click the green light). Then tuck it with the dropdown arrow.
On the playlist, click the drop down arrow on the top left of it's window.
Select "View" --> "Hide collapsed Group Tracks"
