I remember this day like it was yesterday. Mane! We had a blast up in Dyersburg at this show. I also performed at this show. AL covered a lot of history in a short amount of time. This interview was a great bonus addition to the Memphis Gangsta Walkin' DVD.
Me too. It's been so long! But I remember this was a great night. Dope show in Dyersburg. We traveled so much back then I'm surprised I remember the city we were in.
Memphis Rap was basically the NY Rap of the South in terms of diversity and putting out consistent 🔥 back in the day. Nice interview with the legend himself
@@rackss1661 you completely missed my point. I mostly prefer Memphis Rap nowadays (I'm from the East mind you), but both Memphis and NY had huge scenes with diverse sounds in the 90s/early 2000s. That was my point.
Amazing preservation of history. Speaking for all fans this is awesome. And i could watch a thousand different videos on the subject of memphis horrocore
@King JC, is Eric Bovan & the early others still alive, whereas they can be interviewed today about how they created the Buckjump? It's imperative that those men get interviewed.
Dope history lesson!🔥

I don't know for sure. But I agree with you. There are many interviews that need to take place for Memphis music history and legacy.
@memphis_kingjc , thanks for agreeing. Please see if you can influence this onto the old skool Memphis artists that you know.🤞🏿👌🏿
