on the darning: do you just hand force it to go back and forth? you dont use the reverse button everytime, right? idk how to darn?
on real darning and free stitch machines i believe it goes whichever direction you push it. i have a straight stitch so i just go forward then backtack; my machine does most of the work tho you may have to force it more on a home sewing machine

Dawg how do you distress these so well? When I do it, there is so much patchiness from the dremel not tearing the jeans properly. I have chunks of denim where the strinfs are or it just makes a hole when I even slightly go over it too much

yessir; what i have does less that a regular sewing machine. i have a straight stitch juki so it only does one stitch but it does it really well. if your sewing machine has zig zag you might even have an easier time doing it
