Probably a quick test run due to Britannia failing its fitness to run examination for its booked Thursday trip to York. Braunton was the stand by loco, but even that failed at Finsbury Park, bringing in the ECS to KX. The crew managed to repair it fortunately after an hour or so. Bit of a close shave as I was at KX waiting to board the charter!
