Fascinating. I have book (unfortunatelly in Polish) about assembler to soviet clones of System/360 called RIAD. You make me to find it and check how compatibile were clones :)
@@moshixmainframechannel I rather thought about mnemonics are they preserved or translated or "reinvented". We in Poland have strong tradition on "creatively translating" movie titles ;)
Hi moshix, I'm a big fan of your great channel. I've been watching your video from the M1. Now I'm watching M180 and really like the series of mainframe peripheral devices. But I found the video M181 is missing, which should be about the unit record device of mainframe. I gain penty of knowledge about the mainframe from your channel and I really don't want to miss it. I googled it but found nothing. Could you kindly re-upload it? Thanks and expect your response!
A rainy Saturday and a Moshix video... Perfect way to spend the day!
Hot and 🌞 sunny here

Great video. I would love to see one on the hardware in the modern world. Eg supercomputers in weather modelling.
That would be cool! But I don’t have access to a modern super computer …

RIAD computers were about 75% compatible. The ES series was fully compatible

Thanks Moshix
Grazie !
Great video.
Thx
Nice video
Can you find/do something so that we can learn or try HOGAN mainframe
Problem with that is, it is proprietary and now owned by HPE, from what I read.
No idea what a HOGAN mainframe is

Thanks for writing. I don’t think I ever did the unit recording video. I guess I got tired of the subject. 😌
Which is the assembler? 6502asm or S370BALAsm ?
Both are assemblers
