LOL, Gwen. Yes, once I fix one thing, she finds another way to get into trouble or to escape. Currently I've moved the plywood to the other side of the door frame and the chair to the other side as well. That is stopping her for now. But we'll see what she figures out next! cheers, Mary
MY RAT LOUISE IS CLIMBING AROUND IN MY CLOSET RIGHT NOW BECAUSE SHE IS SMART AND BAD. SHE ALSO TURNED ON MY CAPS LOCK EARLIER. seriously i don't know what to do with her. i'm sure she's in there eating clothes as i type. my bedroom is covered in coroplast and tagboard and tape and still she made it into the closet. she doesn't even have to chew through the stuff i put up--she just finds design flaws. and laughs. :(
OMG I am hysterical. Rat-proofing an apartment? A lost cause. Good try! Rats are known to jump up 4 feet, so your next plywood piece should be 5 feet. You're almost there! :)

Love it!
I love my hamsters, but I wish they would be as smart as a rat
That's cool! :)
just give in and build a tiny kitchen for her.
