This is one of the funniest bits Conan ever did. I love how the guy comes on and sings these great old songs with sensible lyrics and Conan gets overly offended by them. Hilarious concept.
I've noticed that in the first few of these sketches, Conan ends up talking over Artie's Irish song, and it's hard to make out the end. I'm glad he stopped doing that.
Artie Kendall’s proposals for child labor wouldn’t even have helped the Great Depression! There were too few jobs to go around, and not enough consumer purchasing power. The supply of labor was in no way a problem.
I love when he admits in a lot of these skits that he was _indeed_ murdered 😂
The song for the ladies always makes me laugh cause Conan never loses hope for that song.

Lol!
Brian Stack as Artie, hilarious. Brian now writes on the Late Show
lol
Unfortunate cuz the late show blows goats compared to conan
I've been looking for this particular one for a while, thanks for posting!

One of them has him talking about people liking kiddie porn at the end but Conan talks over it - probably for the best lol
Conan talking over Artie spoils this one.
Always my fav bit on Conan
This guy and his skit is great!
His actual name is Brian Hannigan
Brian Stack
Plowity gal!
Conan is always ready to give him another chance.
And always amazed to meet the same ghost over and over again
Ba ba ba boo
ba ba ba boo
i still occasionally do this because you can’t sing the songs.
Artie Campbell is a hero.
Where are the Ghostbusters when you really need them?
The women in the audience are able to laugh at everybody else being verbally skewered , but are incapable of laughing at themselves. How typical.
What does he say at the end?
So, women should have a right to vote?
Of course not, at least in a patriarchal utopia.
Actually, most men didn't have the right to vote either. Only landowners and military could vote and if you ask me, it should go back to that.

A rich Hollywood star being out of touch?! I'm sure that wasn't the joke!
Republicans are taking that child labor song to heart. 😬
Please elaborate.
