And Jordan Love is in GB, Rodgers has another MVP, and Jordan love is actually more like Rodgers (mechanically).

I remember watching this when it first dropped and thinking Rosen was going to be good in the nfl and too much was read into his aloof attitude bc Rodgers has a similar attitude. Watching it back, you can see how much Rodgers is a student of the game and how Rosen isn’t. His agent asked him about the workout with Rodgers and his first reaction isn’t what he learned from Aaron or how much he needs to learn, etc. His first reaction is oh man it was fun, he’s so sarcastic, we had fun taking jabs. I’m not saying there’s not room for that, but it seemed apparent he didn’t actually pay attention to what Aaron was trying to teach him.

It was a mistake for the Packers to trade up for Jordan Love. Packers should have gotten Rosen from Miami for really cheap like a mid-late round pick, and used their earlier picks to help out Rodgers. Win-Win situation! Rodgers would have the help he needs. Rosen would have time to develop and learn from a guy he has a big bro/little bro relationship with. Instead, the Packers got a first-round pick sitting on the bench, Rodgers doesn't have the help he needs, and he's got a bad taste in his mouth for this mishandling of situations. Rosen is so underrated...under the right coach/mentor, Rosen has the potential to be a superstar.

Josh Rosen has on 4 team rosters in the last two years (AZ Cardinals, Dolphins, Buccaneers, and most recently the 49ers).
The nfl should do this with every rookie in real life. Every rookie is assigned a vet to be there mentor. The NFL could do so much more to teach these kids about the life they are walking into.

Watching today i feel bad for Rosen he is a talent that deserves a chance
Amazing that he’s currently on his 4th team in the past two years... and all likelihood, SF cuts him, too. I do feel a little bad for him Bc no team has really given him a legitimate chance. Both his stints in Arz and Mia were pretty unfair for a rookie/2nd year QB. I’ve never seen a top ten (draft wise) QB given such little opportunities so soon - usually a QB (high pick) will be given a full two seasons. Not proclaiming he’s great - just an odd and unfortunate situation.
He had SEVERAL STARTS in Miami and kinda sucked; he had most of the year in Arizona and kinda sucked. Word cane out that he didn't follow/know the playbook. I like Rosen, but a perceived attitude and throwing picks and losing doomed him....so
far! Plus,in most interviews, Rosen just doesn't seem to have the passion and burning
desire for football at the highest level. He always says : I'm just in football to have fun and meet people (Huh?!! 🙄), but it's not that deep because I have other interests! (not a direct quote, just the overall impression) It SHOWS in his play! 🤔

I’m not suggesting that he is a supreme talent - just very odd that someone drafted that high, never got a real shot. Those teams he played for, for such a brief period, were beyond terrible. He just never got the same opportunity that other QBs did that were drafted that high. Usually QBs get two full seasons to see if they are a bust or not - and on top of it, he played for historically bad O-lines. I just want to see him with a good team and a good O-line to see if he really is as bad as everyone thinks. That’s all.
@@bobsiyt6548 And....those 4 starts were enough for mgmt. These teams are cutthroat and ruthless and impatient, now; if a QB is not showing glimpses of great, ALMOST IMMEDIATELY, he'd soon GONE. No, it's not "fair", but teams are so hungry to win in this social media age. Even the Giants co- owner said he is tired of losing! They want the fans excited, and a QB that excites. It's ALL about ticket, merch, PR, playoffs, more money for the owners!

Defusionx Is boo rodgers wasn't overlooked due to his family relationship. He was very close to his family at the time, and was until about 2015. Rodgers was overlooked because QBs from his system were usually busts. Coach tedford(?) at cal wasn't known for creating pro qbs. He also had an awful release in college that was fixed after he got to GB.
Rosen has this unfair perception of being a cocky rich kid who thinks he's too smart and therefore might be uncoachable, personally I think it's a load of crap. The guy has never been in trouble, comes from a good family, said to be highly intelligent and a deep thinker but I think it's not normal for NFL scouts to come across football players who don't just rattle off cliche phrases or read off a script

It's the smart thing to do, the Broncos weren't ready for Manning to depart and were desperate to take a chance on Paxton Lynch. They went from 12 wins and a SB to 9 wins and then to 5, and the Giants don't have anywhere near the roster that the Broncos had in 2015-16 when they won the SB. They will struggle to make the playoffs.
