I am building this very model as I type this note. The service that the new Revell/Germany affords the builder now rivals any kit company to date. I have never had such quick response and resolution to my issues. 5-stars to the New Revell/Germany.
I just bought this model, my second attempt the first.. well we won't talk about that. Great video and model some great tips and techniques too. Thank You.
Superbly done. Excellent model but who's idea was it not to give landing gear option, poor decision that as now have to spend more to get it as spares or even buy a second A321 kit
Was very captivating to watch, you have awesome control. With all those little stickers that you keep moving around, how does that work? Is it like wet glue that dries after some time? Is it supplied that way or do we have to apply the glue? Hope the instructions tell us where exactly to put the stickers etc... Nice one and your time lapse was just right. By the way do they have any models that involve putting it together with micro screws?
So they actually aren’t stickers. They’re called waterslide decals. You soak them in water and then you slide it off of the backing paper, and then you can move it around to where you want it. Once it’s where the instructions tell you to put it, you dab the water off with a cotton swab or a paper towel, and it gets stuck there. To seal it to the model, once you’re finished you spray clear varnish on the entire plane.
I got this model for my birthday a few days ago, and I'm quite new to the modelling world, last week I finished the revell Concorde model, and it (sort of) worked out. But this model requires paint, which should I get? What brush should I use, and how long should I wait for the paint to dry? Liked and subscribed, great finish and I love the attention to detail! Will use this as a guide, thank you!
Thank you! In the instructions you will find an overview of all the colors you need: downloads.revell.de/Manuals-Modelkits/03942.pdf Revell Aqua Colors take about 2-3 hours to dry. Brushes can be purchased from Revell or other brands. It is only important that you have about 3 different brush sizes to get the details right.
Thank you! I am currently working on an Embraer 190, but in the future Airbus A350, Airbus A380, Boeing 747, ... will follow. You are very welcome to subscribe to my channel so you don't miss any build :)
What paints did you use? I’m getting into revell model making and am thinking of purchasing the A320 as my first revell set. Would you recommend this? Thank you!
Nice to see you want to get started with airplane model making! For a beginner the A320 is already a bit challenging, but nevertheless I can recommend it as a first set. I used almost all the required colors described here: downloads.revell.de/Manuals-Modelkits/03942.pdf However, I didn't buy some colors like "Light Green Matt 55" because it is only used in a small area in the engine. Instead, I mixed green and white to get close to the color.
@@Aviatico Thank you very much for replying! This won't be my first model, as i have previously assembled Airfix sets, although I appreciate Airfix is much easier to make. Thanks!!!!!
Sorry for my dumb question boys but I am relatively new to modelbuilding, do you put the stickers into hot water before applying them? Waiting for my Embraer model to arrive and I thought I should gather some infos :)
So this will be my first model to build any tips, tricks that may help me tackle this a little better? And why do you wet the stickers or is that like glue??
It’s called a decal, they are an extremely thin piece of plastic that when you wet. Gives in the ability to form around the shape. When you get rid of the water droplets it will stick.
Did the kit come with a stand? Also, should I buy the model that already comes with paints www.megahobby.com/products/airbus-a320-neo-lufthansa-airliner-w-paint-glue-1-144-revell-germany.html Btw great model!

Where did you buy these adhesives and what is the name of this adhesive and where did you also buy the paints? It would be very nice of you if I get an answer Thank you

What a job, this is how modelling SHOULD be done
absolutely beautiful, love the a320 as an aviation nerd
Where da legend was born.
My favorite airplane. Not the biggest or the fastest, but the cutest. Amazing job with the building.

Got this for christmas!

less paint dude !.................but good to see someone hand painting .

Belle maquette.
Nice! Good work! How many days you spent in this project?
Models don’t take days, they take months and even years

Thanks! No issues, everything was good with the kit

No they don’t, just go to a hobby store near you or order some online. Just make sure it’s the right colour. Hope this helped!
Was this a model set? I can see the Revell brush and colors
Yes, it was a model set
Hi! very nice model! i bought one too! it will be my second model! also how long did it took to build? Good video!

Why does the cockpit glass feel.. off?
Sorry for my dumb question boys but I am relatively new to modelbuilding, do you put the stickers into hot water before applying them? Waiting for my Embraer model to arrive and I thought I should gather some infos :)
Cold water also works :)
Great vid. Do they even sell this model anymore? The Revell website only has a handful of aircraft and not a single airliner.
On the Revell Germany website you can still buy this and other airliners
I just got this plane🎉, but I’m not sure what glue to use. Any ideas?
You can find the glue I used in the description
How much time did it take you to build this model?
It took me almost 2 months but I didn't work on it every day
Ok, thx for the reply;)
I have one but is a 747 Lufthansa
Why did they include a cockpit then cover it up with that opaque window 😐
Depending on the angle and lighting conditions, you can look into the cockpit
How much is this ?
Nice model, but where is the landing gear?
No landing gear included
Very weird to see an Airbus Neo series aircraft without it's signature "bandit mask"
Not really, because there are a lot of neos without Bandit Mask, but yes, with Bandit Mask it does look nicer.
Is the paint and glue included?
Depends on what package you buy
Any tips on applying the masking tape?
