Ive used the Sepratrons as an emergency deorbit. I just ran out of fuel trying to land my space plane and i had an escape pod just encase i messed up launching or re entering kerbin it had 4 of them pointing back and i used them for that last little push to catch some atmosphere so i could decay from orbit.
at 2 and a half minutes in, you totally missed a shot at saying "We need the swivels engine ability to swivel". Nice video by the way, i like how you explain the smaller in between steps a lot better, this videos are probably the clearest and most easy to understand of all the tutorials out there!
KSP1 VAB music in KSP2 was surprising, but I like it!
I think 1 thing ksp2 does right is size, When I did my first mun landing in ksp 1 things felt alot smaller. But in ksp 2 it gives the feeling that everything is bigger then you think, Like its real
Does the next episode cover abandoning 35 criminals on Eeloo? I keep trying, but my space plane only has delta V to smash them into that frozen Aussie wave at interplanetary velocity.

It's crazy how the majority of my playtime in both ksps has been with you talking on my second screen, love the content.
As a general idea for a video: try going as fast as possible with some sort of limitation like a specific amount of deltaV and just grav assists or something.. or just a voyager inspired mission.

It will replace it once multi-player is released, and all other features are polished and bug free.

It's even crazier to think that KSP is only at 1/10 real scale. The real planets are around 10 times bigger
(Kerbol is 1/3 the size of Sol so idk if it's just supposed to be really big or something else)

If you want to heres a cool video idea. In KSP, you should see if the idea of oblique wings translates well. I think it would be pretty interesting. For example, you could construct the AD-1
Have you experienced the bug where radially attached parachutes don't deploy? Staged or from the part manager. And have you found a way to work around it?(other than just not using radial parachutes)

Do you think I would be able to land on Tylo (one way mission) with a lander that has 4000m/s of delta v from escape velocity?
also thrust to weight ratio doesnt work anymore with solid rocket boosters. atleast my solid rockets arent supplying near as much thrust as yours were.
I came here to say the same thing, it does show it's over 1 but the rocket just tilts and crashes
is there any chance you'd do a tutorial with the different fuel and engine types and their uses? As a beginner I admit i'm getting lost after unlocking the first 3 tiers, might not be the only one. Thanks for the tips
MATT, I have a space station idea. Since Artemis has been rolling along "smoothly" could you do the lunar gateway space station? its tiny compared to other space stations and it'd look cool in either KSP1-2.
so im new to this channel i got recomended(Im loving this channel as well i plan on watching all the ksp1 videos after this video) because i watch scott manley(i love scott's videos, rewatching his interstellar quest series) and it made me remember that this game finally came out, but it was a buggy mess. I havent done much research but i was wandering if the game is fixed or is it still buggy and ksp1 with mods is better

What pre made computer as opposed to a self build one, is good for ksp2?
Planning on getting the game but is it worth getting ksp 2 or should is just get ksp ?
I think if you want to just gather Kerbin science, it's best to just make a plane so you can easily stick around places you want then move quickly to a new zone. I'm not sure why you thought scanning one biome was gonna give a significant payout on Kerbin.
Flying planes takes forever tho
Still absolutely doable though, with a fair bit of patience
The idea would be to plan an efficient route through where biomes are close together, so it'd be way faster than say crossing an ocean to get to a beach. Even though planes don't have a high top speed, rockets take a while to launch up and slow down, and are rarely used to hop between multiple areas on one planet, especially with Kerbin's dense atmosphere and deep gravity well. All in all I think good routing makes up the difference and more.
Can you do a mission to take off from the surface of jool and make it to orbit? I think it would be a fun challenge

That's odd, I followed along and the "It's Exccentric" quest never popped up!
Does hurling a kerbal in an un-powered crew module at 36,000 m/s in the general direction of eeloo count as exploring deep space? That's about the best I can do.
No.
But it does count as an ethics and psychology experiment, so it's still science. And that's what counts!

Maybe someone should poke the devs and suggest having the recover button pop up in the bottom right corner as soon as you return to Kerbin. It can just remain there until you choose to go elsewhere (Mission control, VAB etc) makes far more sense than having to back into the menu to click recover.
I am still confused why the vessle recovery button isn't anywhere near where it is in KSP 1. it felt right at home underneath the alttimeter, why not in KSP 2 ...

ah yes sorry, I was a little put off there. Imagine this: You're in the position to sell Nate Simpson a car. You tell him it's fully developed in 2 years. He says: "Great, can't wait!".
The day has come:He pays full price.
Nate gets the car. He calls you from home, really politely asking you, where the option to 'driver more than 30mph' is. You tell him, very proud of developement (You know how hard it is to make a car and how hard the team worked on this) that this feature isn't ready yet. But he should check out the soundsystem! Noone will drive past him, with the amazing sound coming out of the windows! Oh yes, that's the other neat part, the windows arent in yet, but oh boi will they look good! (when they're finally in there, just a couple of months, pinky promise).@@sabotagethefool
Idk if this is just a bug or if they updated the physics or smth but I built the same rocket and had nearly identical delta V (it was like 30 or so higher than in the video) but my rocket would just fall to the floor on launch even with the rockets at full thrust 🫤
