I remember my Dad mentioning tanks being sliced up like beetroot as he put it. In WW2, he was in the 1st Polish Armoured Division who entered into France in late July, 1944 later crossing over into Belgium and Holland and finally into the German port of Wilhelmshafen. Wrecked fighting vehicles of every kind were to be founded everywhere and we have a photo of Dad taken in what amounts to a tank scrapyard in Holland, Dungen I think it was.
What a pity that so many men lost their lives and what would they think if they saw the degradation of humanity that exists in our world today?

its not US looks more like French undercarriage with german body "dumped" on top

Notice how most of the knocked out tanks were disabled by Bombers and Artillery....

Most of them in this video were not destroyed by planes or artillery, the tanks on the N13 road were destroyed by Paratroopers, the Tiger at Rauray was knocked out by British tanks, the Panther tanks were all knocked out by British tanks or abandoned and the tanks at Villers Bocage were destroyed by At guns and Cromwell fire.
