It is a pretty simple painting and suitable for beginners.

Thank you a lot!

Thank you! 😊
Hi Renata! I loved the look of this picture, but I wasn't sure how I could possibly make my water look like that! But I did! Your dry brush layer first really worked! Cutting out the dolphin and tracing around it was a great idea, as well as smudging the white dots and spraying some white. (I used Dr. Martin's Bleed-Proof white and it worked just like your gouache. Thank you for this tutorial!
Yay, Tracy! I am so glad for you. It is so great to hear you are satisfied with your painting.
I like how you did the water using dry brushing. I usually try to do it wet on wet and lose all my highlights so have to go on top with white gouache. I'm going to try it this way next time :)
Yes! That is how I also usually do it. But this way looks way more better. At least to me. :) You should give it a try.
Clever. I love the picture x
Thank you a lot!
Wow.. love it 😊
Thank you!
It's so much fun watching your tutorials...thank you! What mixing palette did you use?
Thank you a lot, Nina! This mixing palette I think I got in a local shop. Not sure. I have it for a quite some time. :)
I wish I had seen your tutorial before I started my moon with a mermaid. Looks terrible. I'm starting over the way you showed on this painting. Thank you. I enjoyed watching you and learned a lot. I started painting a couple of months ago, since I retired. Again thank you
I am so glad you like it, Maryann! Have fun!
Love this !
