Yes you are right! The drummer (Steve DiStanislao), who has played for David Gilmour for many years, is always smiling. In an interview he was once asked why. His answer was that he enjoyed every minute of a concert with David Gilmour. So, beautiful woman, have a nice Sunday!
David Gilmour is able to tap into the human soul with his guitar playing like probably no other guitarist; totally get your reaction because it's like mine.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the drummer is smiling because he’s performing at the first event in front of a live audience at the ancient amphitheater of Pompeii since 79 AD. Only Gilmour could pull off such an event.

Pink Floyd, and especially Gilmour, are masters of mixed emotions. he once said, in an interview, that he liked to take a song's lyrics and create guitar music that involved different emotions than conveyed in them. you should react to High Hopes, from the same concert. he adds a little bit at the end that isn't in other versions, that's really beautiful.

You don't listen to David Gilmour or Pink Floyd...you experience them...on a very visceral level. Amazing stuff. All of it......even after 4 plus decades now. Try listening to the Pink Floyd album, THE WALL, in one sitting, in a dark room. David' s guitar playing on THE WALL is jaw dropping. The whole thing is jaw dropping.
I think she should go back to Dark Side Of The Moon, full album. Then WYWH, Animals then The Wal. Ending with The Final Cut. I don’t now, I’m just an old hippie chick who loves the Floyd a lot. Rock on.

I watched him at the united center in Chicago and it’s the absolute pinnacle of my live music experiences. I recommend listening to the entire pulse concert as it’s fabulous top to bottom!

As a musician and music producer, I always give the same advice to new reactors. The very most important part of a presented production, which you have just done, is level control. Make sure you, as a commentator, your voice is not louder than the video. Otherwise, we turn up when the music is on and when you talk it is like a blast of volume change, and it can put people off. You are very genuine and real, that will serve you well. I am subscribing because I want to see where you go. 👍👍👍

Very poignant to find this my cousin died of sepsis and lived in borneo , we were close and this song fucking broke me but light at the end of the tunnel grief is a hard emotion to bear but other people matter when you cant turn back time ....

I've watched several guitarists over the decades get so technically proficient that all they want to do is burn up a song until it's unrecognizable as music. DG never does that.

As great and awesome as this is, you have to listen to the track from the Pulse concert. So much better, IMO. In fact, that entire concert album is some of their best work. Absolutely amazing.

Although this is great from the recent live concert in Pompeii you will find that the pink floyd live pulse concert from 1994 much better , I think most pink floyd fans would prefer you to react to the pulse concert, nice video though hope to come back for more
Personally, I like that some people are reacting to concerts *other* than Pulse. Pulse obviously a great concert, but all these reactors are just doing the same thing. It's nice to see some of them doing something different.
I like great parts of Pompeii 2016 much more than Pulse 1994.
