A friend from Bellevue and I played backyard football with The Blood Brothers in like 1998. Who was the first time I ever met those guys and they were super cool.
Mark is seriously one of the best drummers to ever sit behind a kit, that I’ve witnessed anyways. He’s always RIGHT on top of the beat, precise but wild, has a crazy arc, and when things get complicated where a lot of drummers slow down JUST a little, he mows right through those bits. Like a harder hitting Gabe Serbian in alot of ways (RIP Gabe you titan of talent).

I get what your saying. In some songs, one of two things seem's to happen. Johnny sings way, way more then Jordan, or Johnny's voice overshadows Jordan's when they are singing together. And I enjoy hearing Jordan sing to, so that makes sense.
The thing about the Blood Brothes is no one really sounds like them. They definatly have their own style that makes them near impossible to classify into a genre.They aren't really indy, they aren't really hardcore, they aren't really screamo. They are just the Blood Brothers.

megaiantastic no, it was legitimate screamo or 'skramz' that was far more experimental than the usual. This inspired so much Skramz, emo and post-hardcore to expand and push their boundaries. They're like if Love Like Electrocution was more put together with their melodies and cleaner vocals.
