Thank you all for your contributions and thank you to Phil Walleystack for providing the music for this series.
First Nations Peoples are striving to get their voices heard. Australia, NZ, Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Central & South America, the occupiers of the Sami lands, and many more... keep demanding a voice. Thank you sharing the messages of the First Peoples of Australia. From San Diego, California.
NO NO NO HELL NO
I still find the thought interesting, everyone is talking about how much money is spent yearly, and how it's being pretty well squandered. What makes anyone think it's going to change with the inclusion of a voice to parliament. The spending is still going to be an issue. Only now a Federal Council will argue where and how the resources will be divided. Yet there is never any autonomy brought to the table. All I see is members elected to the council drawing a wage and nothing being achieved because of in fighting. It is widely known within Australia, Tribal elders think very little of City dwelling urbanised Indigenous Australians.
Just so sad that it's always someone elses fault for not taking personal & corporate responsabilty. Its always governments failing the indiginoues community. Thats regardless of the recognition, care and compassion given. Its simply never going to be enough. 😢
Sorry but I will be voting NO.
