I don't even really hear too much resemblance to Nirvana here, seems pretty original. Kinda bummed that people always have to claim that grunge artists are copying Nirvana when the all you need is a couple guitars, a drum kit, and pent up frustration to make some kickass grunge happen. Rock on!
Totally agree with you here. Don't understand why people think every grunge band is a copy of Nirvana.
I can see the resemblance, definitely, but then again, Nirvana was in turn influenced by plenty of other bands, nothing wrong with that. And hell these guys sound pretty cool.

Nirvana just set the standard. So that's why everyone associates Grunge with them. YOu can here some inspiration but they also got there own thing going for sure.

Grunge extends well beyond a Nirvana as a genre. This is most definitely grunge rock. Top tier stuff too.
Nirvana is the staple of grunge so I'm not surprised that many grunge bands are compared to them. Its really like saying I'm copying your style for wearing skinny jeans, although most people wear them.

Pisses me off that every comment thread I read there is always a hand full of idiots saying people are copying nirvana, nothing is new in music it’s all been done before, people are influenced by others, no harm in sounding like a band you like, kinda hard to have your own sound, very limited do you know how many bands are out there,
People need to stop saying that they sound like Nirvana, I mean of course they are inspired by them as are tons of other bands, but Senium has a completely different sound. Saying Senium is like Nirvana is like saying Nirvana is trying to be The Melvins, they arent, they just are inspired. and saying Senium is keeping grunge alive is also nonsense, grunge never left. Senium is just bringing grunge back to its original form because they aren't wannabes, they are musicians who need more cred for being really fucking good and for staying true to what they do. You guys are fucking awesome, ive told my friends about you and they absolutely love you guys. Come to Southern California, theres a crowd eagerly waiting for you guys.

Literally, the only real similarity between this and Kurt is that they both use mustangs, power chords, and they wear flannel! The lyrics are not at all like Kurt's, the actual song structure is very different, more like garage rock than anything Nirvana ever did!

These boys are not nirvana. Personally I dig it. love the harmonics. All of it. Sounds like Nirvana had a little influence on em but so what? Alice in chains is my fave. Lead singer looks just like Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull and I like the sound and of course you'll hear nirvana.. after nirvana all music had bits and pieces of them engraved into it.. They had such an influence on all music and still are... Probably always will.. Just like the stones, cash, David Bowie, the Beatles, jimi, etc, etc.. I love it all.. Hopefully if these guys do blow up they'll keep that homegrown sound and attitude, aesthetic.. White boy funk sucks..
