My father traveled to Japan for work many times 50+ years ago and totally enjoyed the people and culture. I'm glad you enjoyed it also. Hope you are having a blessed day.
Man, I’m so happy you posted. It’s so interesting watching your adventure through out Japan. The kindness of the Japanese people is truly humbling. When I biked across Japan complete strangers let me stay in their homes. They trusted me completely. People would offer me food and drinks all the time haha. I’m so happy you had a similar experience. The garbage problem was such an issue for me too haha. Looking forward to your future videos 😊
@@fartherout yeah, I’m still so grateful for how kind they were. I have so many memories I’ll never forget. I biked south to north. I started in Kagoshima, Kumamoto, Fukuoka, kitakyushu, Yamaguchi, matsuyama, okayama, Osaka, Kyoto and then Nagoya. I hurt my leg so I wasn’t able to get as far as I wanted. I’m going back in April to bike the rest of the way. It’s so crazy I found your page. I didn’t expect another biking across Japan series haha. Could I send you a message on discord?
Oh so we went opposite directions! Sorry it was cut short but I hope you’re able to get back out soon! And I don’t have a discord but my Instagram page is linked and the bio and you can shoot me a direct message and we can chat in there if that works!
Hey there! Thanks glad you liked it. Thought you’d enjoy the longer form content. Jules and I met in Los Angeles and I’ll be home soon! Can’t miss another holiday
Your channel is so underrated and I hope it gets more popular
That really means a lot to me thank you so much 🙏 I hope so too !

@@fartherout I'm guessing Jules has been with you on your entire "world tour"? Wonderful to have a traveling companion.
No she actually just joined me for a week at the end of the cycling tour! She has work to do. But yes it was nice having some company for a change
7:15 omg that’s the cycle path from Kyoto to Osaka!
Yes indeed it is! I’m amazed you can remember the place
@@fartherout haha, good memories of that route.
I made some friends on biking along that trail so I remember it well :)
First 😃😺 Yea!
