Dubon better become a everyday player. What else does this man have to do to prove he's a everyday starter. Thank you for the great astro videos .🎉
For real, insane to bench him with his stats, he proved himself in 2023, and so far this season too
To prove he's a starter for this team, he needs to play like shit and change his name to Abreu. Only then, will he be recognised.
Keep Dubon on first, replace Meyers with an offensive Mid fielder and sack Mon- freaking -tero. Yainer and Chas could use some batting practice so I'd even consider sending both down to AAA for a bit.

Hunter Brown's best outing of the year. Reminds me of what we saw from him last season. Dubon reminds me of the valuable utility player for the Padres, Ha Seong Kim, who went on to become a starter. I think Dubie will too. Great win!

Hes batted in almost every spot in the lineup Played every defensive position but Catcher and Pitcher. Hits home runs, steals bases puts ball inplay to move runners. This dude is Mr Utility.
Reggie Jackson was Mr. October. Doobie is Mr. All Season.
Let's go Doobie! Since last year he has been doing very well. He held it down last year when we had injuries at the begging of the year and since then has been awesome for the Stros. He really deserves to be starter.

Meyers is so underrated.
As a defensive player...for sure, but he can't hit. He needs to be able to do both to be the player we need. Right now, I would replace him with an offensive OF and sub him in if we get a good lead.
Don't listen to that dude. He's seen only like 4 games or something.

@@Wikikiman Idk, I've been seeing him hit pretty consistently lately. He had a stretch of time after his shoulder injury in Chicago a couple of years ago where he was bad but that was down to having to find his form after a serious injury. Sure he's not hitting like Pena, Altuve and Tucker have but few people in AL have been.
I would have to agree if his play time only consisted of his rookie start near the end of the season in '21 and this year. If you consider the abysmal seasons of '22 and '23 then, nah, he's not underrated. But it is good to see him hitting a lot better.
I'm shocked the Astros actually cut Abreu. Like....shocked. I thought maybe this off-season, but not during the year. I guess it was just bad enough they just couldn't take it anymore and were willing to eat it
I find it AMAZING that they waited this long!
There's nothing like getting fired and walking away with at least $30mil. I'm sure Abreu is feeling the sting.
