Some certainly do. Stalker 2 or (especially) The Outer Worlds 2. Others have only the post-apocalyptic vibe, which is not enough to make them "like Fallout".
@@jor-el1298 Stalker is not really similar. Yes, it's post-apocalyptic, but that's about it. Gameplay, mechanics, premise are all different. Stalker is not an RPG; probably Stalker 2 won't be either, but who knows!
true frostpunk should be nowhere near this list, while ashfall at least seems to fit (most everything else is closer to STALKER, which is great, but doesn't fit the title of this vid)
The western theme there hits right at home for me. Being born in Tucson, and raised in Phoenix. I love the southwestern style. I'll be keeping your game on my radar.
Some original ideas which is great to see. Video games are starting to be like modern music though. There is less and less original content every year.
Fallout 76 taught so many people a lesson. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! There have been a ton of games who have CLAIMED to look crazy epic only to be stupid soups of 8-bit code. Don't get into anything that is or has never been in closed, true beta testing with non-employees of the dev company. Bethesda promised a lot when Fallout 76 was announced. The only thing it did in the end was ripped off millions from BS marketing, lose their shirt, lose millions of fans and when it was all said and done, they also lost a few billion dollars, eventually their company and their rights to the "Fallout" series. Another example...the promises made by the devs of Cyberpunk2077.
I like in “Rooted” the possibility to build shelters and outposts resembling very much Fallout feature which I really enjoyed. I wish it will come to XBOX
Kudos to the guys making "Pioneer". Gameplay looks solid, so far. And the visuals are fantastic. It's inspiring as an indie game designer what can still be accomplished from a visual standpoint in UE4. Another UE4 game that amazed me in the visuals department was Trepang 2. That game also has very satisfying combat.
Can't wait for June,Once Human is a great game so far. F2P and 0 microtransactions except skins bought with in-game currency. Devs listened to beta testers and made a lot of changes for the better of the game. Build a base, vehicles, missions, pvp (full time pvp on CERTAIN servers,PVE has some "choice"pvp if you want it),world bosses, and best of all so far a really great community on the servers I've played on. Think we only booted 2 people the entire time (6 months or so). Hope to see ya'll in!
Why these games are not **like** Fallout (particularly FO4): 1. The majority of them are not RPGs. 2. None of them contain all the elements of Fallout - looter/shooter, RPG, base building, a unique lore-filled world, player agency in an open world sandbox, to name the main ones. 3. None of them allow you to choose 1st or 3rd gameplay and switch between them seamlessly. 4. None of them have Dogmeat. Nor memorable companions like Piper, Hancock, Nick Valentine (and those are just from FO4). 5. A gigantic modding community, allowing for endless replayability.
Something a lot of these games have in common is that they have nothing in common with Fallout.
Some certainly do. Stalker 2 or (especially) The Outer Worlds 2. Others have only the post-apocalyptic vibe, which is not enough to make them "like Fallout".

I no longer trust game trailers!!!!
They're all cinematic and very little actual gameplay.

Outer Worlds 2 seemed pretty accurate.
LoL, of course not. I learned that at twelve.
The "Once Human" gameplay (26:00) is real. I played the last 2 betas, and looks like it will turn out to be an amazing game. Comes out July 9th,F2P.
Thank you for mentioning our game, ExeKiller! It means a lot!
I just watched all the animation vids and trailers on yalls channel. Dang yall take my money, stunning work!

Best one
Looks incredible
Who ever is reading this... have a great day! 🏆🙂🙏🏼
Same to you 🎉
Thanks you 2 😊
You too!

Rooted is going for a unique survival spin that other developers are too scared to touch. They have my support.
And what would that be? I see nothing "unique" there.
@@Bluenochian Look elsewhere for an argument.
Chernobyl liquidators, looks like a game from mid 2000s 😳
Make that first one as a real movie with real actors like Pitt or Brolin and that's a Hollywood legend.
nice list. several games that basically all look almost the same, juging from the provided footage.
there are a lot of games trying for STALKER, but there might as well be something that tries and ACTUALLY captures Fallout. Here's to hoping!

there's nothing like fallout that's why it's fallout ...
forever winter looks like KKND Crossfire 2
Pioner still months away and advertising using Unreal Engine 4.... Games going to be dated by the time it launches...
atleast the metro game has been mentioned
Stalker 2 is the only one I want.
Like and Subscribed.
Fallout is built different lol
Once human is the only one that even sparks an interest for me. Looks like a mind screw. The others are just more of the same.
Pioner = Stalker :D
Because fallout 4 is a casket of bugs, also are we accepting 60 FOV for every game now?
Nice
Games that tickled my bone a bit:
Forever Winter
ExeKiller
Metro Awakening VR
Stalker 2
great
still hurting from cyberpunk...............the trust is gone.
🙂
OUTER WORLDS SOLD ME!!! LOL
I swear these better be true opwn worlds and not like the hot mess starfield is.
Most people cannot run Unreal engine FYI.
I’m not really impressed with any of these so far. I might change my mind when I see actual game play.
Okey. Dokey. Then ...
leave frostpunk out of this list, good game or not, it's a strategy game, not fitting in any way Fallout.
First person shooters. Fallout isn't that.
The title of this video is wrong, should be "Games like FALLOUT 3, 4" cause FALLOUT was an isometric cRPG not a shooter.
So basically a bunch of russian games...
No Atom Fall?? That's literally Fallout, but British lol
outer worlds trailer has to be one of the Best and most honest trailer i ever watched LOL XD
seems cool but I'm probably just goanna play the Fallout games until the next one
FINALLY a game where I can stealth around some ruins, collect scrap, build a base, and craft weapons! I've waited so long!
I like in “Rooted” the possibility to build shelters and outposts resembling very much Fallout feature which I really enjoyed. I wish it will come to XBOX

Kill kill kill kill kill………..bang bang bang
🤣🤣🤣
Any project without a deadline and is in perpetual development has no accountability. Save your money and wait for version 1.0 (aka call their bluff).
serum is the only one that seems really bad to me.
It’s not that horrible.
The Forever Winter trailer has me curious but making me hope it's not another L4D style horde game. I'm over those
Let me guess, you need a top of line PC that costs 4× 5× as much as a console/TV set up to play any of these at 30fps.
Well, so many of them being done in Unreal Engine makes them non-starters after what Epic is trying to pull
What did any of those have to do with Fallout? Lol as in what was the point of mentioning it?
The outer world is not post apocalytpic game!
More like 2025. These won't release this year.
Great!
Fallout had 3rd person and a character creater?

Pioneer has no Steam page
Forever winter song ?
i have all and played through many times the Metro series.. but have no set up for VR.. will be possible to play it without the VR?
all on pc I guess...
I'm rooting for rooted because they advertised with a banjo, I like the banjo.
Cut scenes 😂
One thing i always enjoy is ringing in my ears in game trailers.
UE5 is still a very bad engine. Not a single decent game on it did not work, too meager potential and opportunities. And eats the system by 300%.
Stalker 2 looks amazing, although not my type of game unfortunately.
Tired of these open world crafting games to be honest
