I had the pleasure of seeing her in Hershey, PA. I believe this was the second stop on her tour and this song really hit home as I had just lost my sister friend to suicide the month before. If my memory serves me correctly she had a lost a very dear friend herself and thus this song was born. ❤

I had lost my brother to Pancreatic Cancer on 10/20/21 at 60 years old and just being there and the first song she sang, I ugly cried and so did my daughter. I think we cried most of the concert. Before he died, I yelled out to God and asked him not to take him. I am angry at God for taking him at only 60 years old. My Mom passed in 2004 of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at only 63 years old. My Mom had told all of her children that she wanted all of us to be saved, so she could see us again in Heaven. I am trying to get my 4 brothers to believe in God, but they say why God takes some people and not others. That they were good people. 😭😭😭😭
At around 2:34 you can hear the person recording this song begin to cry/sob. This video itself gives most of us goosebumps, so being there live, I can understand how such a wonderful song brings tears to someone. God Bless to everyone out there. Thanks for the upload.
She just had a preview concert last night and sang this song in dedication of the Covenant School...I heard this song just a few days after this video was recorded, but last night it felt like it was written for the exact purpose of helping express the feelings of the families involved in the tragedy of this shooting.

Oh I love this song so much Lauren I wanted to tell you my story for so long I found you in amidst the most terrible time in my life when my only sibling died from what a "slow suicide of alcoholism ! He been brought up in a Christian home like I was but he threw Christianity in the face off God in enjoying being in a cult in which many gods are higher up than the real God and Saviour Money drove my brother to the depts off despair He was a very cruel child very cruel young man to me and the same till the day he died!! You see I always kept my faith in God ! What was such heartache to me was the knowing feeling my brother probably was in Hell ! One day I turned on my music in the depth of despair and I heard you singing “Look up Child "! And then I knew I couldn’t take those pills counted out to take my life When I think back how cruel that deed would have been for my husband who’s the best man in the world !! and also our mentally disabled son who wouldn’t have known where mammy gone it breaks my heart writing this because I sound so selfish !! Just grief broken hearted about my brother was suffering turned my mental capacity to think properly I would never even have contemplated the thought of taking my life ever My dear daddy got up every morning at 5am for 35 years to pray for his son to find Christ So maybe God answered prayers because he died alone and had time to think I lost my daddy 7 years before to cancer He was the one who taught me everything about my Saviour in our many walks in the country side !! I’d lost Mummy to dementia two years before my brother died ! My parents are safe in Heaven with the Lord they worshipped all their lives !! but to get back to my chat with you You give me the strength I needed that day God played your song to me And it had a light bulb switch affect It brought me back to Christ I bought all your albums and set on replay in my head and I’ve survived! I’m sure you have been told many times how your music rescues souls ! I want you to realise You rescued me !! Thank you for the wonderful choice you took in life to write such meaningful songs from your heart I go around singing your songs all the time I have a lovely singing voice but never got the courage to sing in front of crowds ! Hi! I hear her say friend, (singular) Seems she is singing about a loved one who died recently that she loved very much. Her grandpa died if u remember she once remarked years ago, whom she was very close to and encouraged her to not be afraid to sing. But, I understand where ur coming from. But also this is what I can here her singing. I know the words are hard to hear. So I suppose we won't really know until the lyrics come out. Will be interesting to see. It is a very nice , heartfelt song. So nice of her to be so transparent with us in this song.
