- In this unique video, we will explain in detail the effect of the tsunami in the Strait of Malacca, in the eastern part of which lies the country of Malaysia, which was hit by this natural phenomenon at Christmas in 2004. We focus especially on the most affected places, i.e. the islands of Penang and Langkawi. You can look forward to detailed maps and explanations, as well as illustrative videos and other captions. The video has a purely educational nature and therefore you will not find purposeful shots of destruction here. Thanks for watching and subscribing to our channel.
I’ve always been fascinated by tsunamis and seismic activity, thanks for all these informative vids
as a western Malaysian I had an aunt that lived in pinang and it's very sad and my grandma that lived near the beach she is a great chef and my grandma house was flooded
Thanks for mention my country 😊
Proud to be Kedahan 🦅
Another very informative one. Great job!
Your presentations are very informative, scientifically and geophysically accurate and just a pleasure to watch. New subscriber, thank you and greetings from 🇺🇸 . 👍
I was in Thailand in 2017 and you could still see the aftermath, like ripped out trees...
Another great video. I had not seen most of the video of the tsunami you showed here.
The speed of the waves in the first clip is terrifying. And the clips of Penang being hit, one can see the water really battering the shore. Glad the numbers killed there were small, relatively speaking. But still very sad for those affected.
Excellent video. Really! Also, you have very good English. Articulate and well thought out.
Love your videos ❤️
Thks for making video about malaysia..
I always wondered how Malaysia dogged the tsunami now I know thanks, but I can’t find many videos about it
Yes, there are a minimum of them, that's why I decided to make it.
Most people never saw it coming or those at ground zero filming didn't make it.
@@TOPTopics sucks, I wanted to see footage , not hear your corny azz

I remember when I was in a trip to langkawi, I was at the langkawi mountain when I notice the tsunami, People pointing at the wave, and we just watch as the wave flush through the coast. I was shock, like I never seen a tsunami in my life. I lived in Johor amd usually enter Singapore, which these 2 placed are safe due to the Sumatra island cover.
Indonesia Island have shelter Malaysia main land bringing very minimum level of damages and death
I am from Malaysia
Thank you xx

Someone asked, why would God allow this to happen. My answer is, because these nations don't even believe in God. These nations have the most idols they worship all through out the country. So since they put their trust in buddha. Then we should say, why would Buddha allow such destruction to his disciples. Idol worship!
@tiedyehobo dude my country Malaysia literally respect the Islamic God Allah I'm Buddhist and learn how to research other people countries and worship before you start saying shit in the internet and to you didn't God created the earth ? Leave religion out of this topic people died
why don’t you let people believe and worship whichever version of God they believe in. I don’t understand why you feel there is a need to criticize people and convert them by any means to your religion? no one asked for that.

Who see this video in 2024😂
Oh wow
Good commentary and very good level of English. However the pronunciation makes it very difficult to follow. It's as if he had a couple of candys in his mouth or his tongue was paralyzed.
Kalo banyak orang yg buat maksiat biar negara Islam psti ito knna mosibba.
