Hi Jared! I just wanted to say thank you for all the hard work you put in! You are THE go to when it comes to BETA info on YT. And I know it can’t be easy doing that + running a small business, so I appreciate it. I’m looking at getting a 2023 Beta 200rr (non-race edition) and had some related parts questions if you have extra time. If not, no worries! What parts options would be the best for that bike when it comes to 4 categories below? 1. Flag hand guards 2. Header pipe guard 3. Fork bottom guard 4. Swing-arm guard
Good Evening! Thanks for the positive comment! Here are my thoughts: 1) Enduro Engineering with the Aluminum mounts 2)P3 Pipe Guard 3 & 4) Not much experience with the guards there, however I did just do a video on the Acerbic fork protectors and they turned out great!
That’s cool they put a batch fire coil or 2 coil on plug. They do this in outboard motors a lot. Evinrude been making 2 stroke outboards with direct injection and efi since like 2003
I had a 22 390 race edition sold it . Too fat feeling they need to narrow the motor and frame . I have a 23 300 RR with wp air forks and it's the best off-road bike I've ever ridden. Really good machine May buy a 350 soon hoping it stays leaned over and doesn't have that flywheel stand the bike up in corner feel like the long strokes do
You should do a video comparing the xtrainer, 300rr, and the race edition. Have the guys ride them around and give their thoughts on the way they ride! We enjoy all the videos!
hey man between the 250 and 300, do you think the 300 is less nimble than the 250 due to the larger motor or do you think its the same. in the past ive noticed that the 300 was a bit sluggish compared to the 250.
No I don't think that at all, we really enjoy the 300's. I think you have the ability to lug the 300s quite a bit more than the 250s but they still pull super hard. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Dual spark plugs? do they have a jake brake option? Back in the old days lots of bikes had a second spark plug hole, sometimes the extra plug got replaced with a jake brake, engine braking on demand. Of course those bike ALL had drum brakes. It was a handy and fun accessory, 50 years ago.
I've been waiting for Beta to make some sort of significant changes to the 200 to warrant buying one. I own a 2016 KTM 200 XCW (which I love) and I'm waiting to make the change, just Beta isn't giving me much of a reason to.
Hopefully you get the changes you want soon! We love the 200's the way they are. What in particular are you looking for in the bike that it doesn't currently have? Thanks, Jared
@@3SeasRecreation I’d like to see them invest more in improving the engine/frame and components like they have done the 250/300 and 125. It just needs a little more love and then I’m jumping ship. Living in New Zealand, Beta doesn’t quite have the market share yet either, so parts and the bikes themselves are still expensive. I have demo’d the 200 and it’s a great bike, I just know if I buy one now, next year they will do a ton of improvements and I’ll be kicking myself 😅
Yes I agree, in the past the RE just had some bling and now the last few years and especially this year we are getting some differences! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Maybe you can do a breakdown of the 4t engine characteristics, why you would choose between the 350-500 strengths and weaknesses. I cant find much info regarding this.
So the race editions get the stiffer frame but the normal RR still gets the same frame as before ? I was hoping they were going to say they added in some more flex. I don't get this industry move towards stiffer bikes every year. Very obvious on the new KTM's, yammy's and honda's.
Do you have a tip for a little better fuel economy out of the bikes? I have the 2023 300rx and it seems like it eats fuel pretty good. Think my float needs adjusted? Or are they known for being more of a fuel pig….
Good Morning, carbureted bikes do drink a bit more gas. However, I would assume your bike is a bit rich from the factory. I would consider playing with the jetting and also check your float bowl height. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
I Hope Beta sends me a pair of These new handguards for my 23. There they also should have come with but i only hot the Standard handguards because there where Like shipping problems new ones I hot told.😅
Haha! Sounds like they passed on them for 2023. Originally I thought we were supposed to get them but then they had a delay. Looks like 2024 is the year! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Husky used to have dual plugs on all their bikes back in the day so if you fouled one plug you could move the cap over and still ride. But it didn’t work all that great.
hey matey, excited to get the new 24 and upgrade from the 22. although i think the 23 is the best looking so far. Thought i would leave a note that others and yourself may be aware of. brad freeman run the twin sparkplug on his gp bike think theres a video in his factory bike tour vid.
Good Evening, yes they mentioned that they had been working with him on the engine development. We can't wait to get one and play with it! Enjoy The Ride, Jared

I'm going to change bikes and I'm thinking about whether to get a beta or a tbi?
Which one would you choose?
I run standard b8 es

Wow, seems a much bigger difference between RR & RE now with a different frame and engine.

Have a 2023 300rr race edition thinking of getting a 390 re this year
That would be an awesome pair of bikes in the garage! The best of both worlds! Enjoy The Ride, Jared

will the 24 300RX have the twin spark plugs and updated frame?
Good Evening, NO the RX does not have the twin spark plug. We have already had 5 of the 2024 RX models come in and sell. Enjoy The Ride, Jared

Is that Ryan Dungey on the Wheaties box?
Yes
Sure is! Box is still sealed and won't be opened! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Hello!
Can you tell me if the radiator from the 24 fit on the 23?
Good Morning, that is a great question and one that we have not messed with yet. We will make a video once we know more! Enjoy The Ride, Jared

I didn't know that! Sounds like theirs was more for one being a back up rather than having a dual ignition.
But I just got my 23.....
Ya played ya self
