In Dematel method, the Value with Highest Ri+Ci value (Process Energy) is most influential. It means it has most relative-ness with respect to other responses. Even the Ri - Ci value with highest value (Process time) also influence response that effect all other responses. So Process Energy and Process time influence a lot on Green EDM process.
Vitarka! It was great. Recently I have learned the ISM method. When I was reading papers I figured out many authors used this method "Dematel "as a supplementary method with ISM. I thought it would be a complicated method but now you have changed my mind about it. Thanks a lot. I am excited and feel very confident to apply this method with a lot of criteria.
Thank you for this great video. I have a question: At the end you calculated Alpha as the average of all the values of Total Relation Matrix and compared each value against it. I have not found this step in any published work yet. Since I need to show reference for this step in my work, could you please share the names of few publications where this step is used.

Thank you for the good explanation and method that you provided, but I did not understandٌ what is usage of "Cause" and "Effect"? You did not mention the need to determine these words and what impact they will have on the result.. In the end, only the elements of the matrix are compared with the alpha value and the correlations are determined... If possible, plz explain about these words and requirement of determining them and their usage. thank you again
I have cited the reference paper where I have taken this example for explaining the mathematical calculations. Could you please refer that reference paper so that you can get why the cause and effect are used.
@@Vitarka Thank you very much. I wanted to use Dematel to determine relationships in the ANP method. What I saw in your video and many articles was that this method only considers the relationships between criteria and it ignores the effects that alternatives (of ANP) can have on the criteria. What solution can be suggested for this problem? Is it possible to bring the alternative as well as the criteria in the comparison matrix of Dematel? In this case, how will the scoring be?
Nice video!! I have a query regarding this method. How if we use more than one expert? Should we aggregate the result or we take one expert only during the calculation?

Very useful video... I enjoyed it... And i am confident enough to use this method in my research work... Thank you...
So nice of you
I would be grateful if you made the video of the fuzzy dematel method. Thanks in advance.
Great suggestion!

Thanks for sharing! your view. Really Happy to hear such comments.
it's veru useful, thank you for sharing selflessly!!! Could I get the excel file for practice?? please~
Hi Iris Chang, Thank you. I have updated the download link for the Excel sheet in the Video description. Please check it.
Thank you so much
welcome

Just wanted to know if you are not using the threshold value then how the cause and effect will be identified
@@Vitarka causes and effects are identified from the D-R values directly (positive D-R means cause, negative D-R means effect).
@@Vitarka thank you
Yep but when we need to show on interrelationships diagram ? Then definitely we need to use alpha value as base .

@@sobhshab4732 For the alternatives selection you can use other method like TOPSIS or WASPAS etc., Regarding the scoring I cant able to answer it.
Did you check the consistency index? how do you know that the results are reliable?
Here there is no consistency index, i have solved the problem based on the reference journal article
@@Vitarka I get it, thank you
good method
Keep watching
@virarka kadapa can i get the excel file or data file for practice?
Hello, thanks for your tutorial on DEMATEL, I got stopped in the inverse of I-Y
kindly guide me plz
Write to me gmail - vitarkaprojects
Nice video!!
I have a query regarding this method. How if we use more than one expert? Should we aggregate the result or we take one expert only during the calculation?
yes you can aggregate the results and give a final one.
Thanks a lot 😊
at 2:13 , with one ............ ?
it is the pair wise comparison as done in aHP method
If you make a video of Fuzzy dematel method, please let's me know. Thank in advance.
Will try
if we have data of more than 200 then how to calculate
not sure about huge data have to review the literature
wht book u use ?
I have used journal articles, that were cited by in the video
dear Vatrika. thanks for your helpful video. Is that possible for you to give me the excel sheet?
Yes, sure. I will update it and inform you.
@@Vitarka the old one works for me. I really need it. My email is: foroozan.javaheri@gmail.com
how to check the reliability of the results?
It depends on expert decision for framing inter relation ships.
@@Vitarka Thank you
Could you please send me the excel file?
sure i will upload and inform to you
Thank you
@@Vitarka I too need it
can i get the excel sheet plz??
Surely you can get it. Depends on availability.
