We push sexual liberation on the youth believing we protect them from religious fundamentalism and expose them to physical and emotional pain in the process. Condoms will not protect you from herpes or crabs. They can also split. I am a Christian but I haven’t always been. I think it’s incredibly sad that we never tell kids that not having sex is an option, and this does not have to be religiously motivated.
