I always liked this music from the ad. There was another song similar to this style from a ladies' underwear or lingerie ad that I never found. The lyrics were something like "I'm dreaming, tomorrow, I'll be back home with you again."
So a year later, I started thinking about that song we remembered from the underwear commercial. I went down a rabbit hole and I think I finally stumbled on it! Please take a listen to, "I Keep Your Picture" by David Dundas, and let me know. 😊

I've actually listened to that David Dundas song back when I was trying to find this Bill Eaton song. One of the videos here on youtube even says that the David Dundas song was used in Country Time commercials, which I think is incorrect but, I don't know.

I contacted the parent company when this aired to find out if they knew anything about this song and if they didn't, who the ad agency was that handled this campaign. I got a lovely letter back from a woman who told me how much she liked the song, too, and that no one in the office knew who it was either, and she gave me the name of the ad agency. I wrote to the ad agency and got a rather boring formal letter back stating it was a different department that handled that account and that my inquiry would be referred to them. I never heard again.

Even now that you have posted this, and I have the name of the man and the name of the song, running searches for this song and this man only results in this video and one other video with a picture of a wheat while this plays. All other searches for this man results in a tiny handful of sites, most of which have little to nothing about him and no mention of this song on the ones that do. I find this interesting all by itself.
