Best tournament run ever for The Tide, and great effort against the overall #1 seed. Bama is the only team that was even competitive with UConn! Great job guys! I have a feeling we'll be back soon.

I’ve been watching Bama basketball for about 20 years now, and this season stands out among all of them and will be remembered forever. Making it to the Final Four was an unreal accomplishment for this team. Proud of these guys. Really gonna miss this team!

This is good for the Alabama program. You guys made it to the final 4. Thats like a football team who nobody expected to be in the playoffs make it to the playoffs. At least last year because this year theyre letting way too many teams get in. Lol. Anyway. Yall got a great team. I don't know how well the football team will do with Saban gone but yall definitely got something special going on in basketball. Nothing but the best. Longhorn fan 😊
Great Run AL, great team and chemistry. Outstanding basketball you are a FINAL FOUR team nobody can take that away! The score is a bit lopsided but that is not as fair as it would seem. Both teams went cold with 3s, AL a little more. I thought the turnovers from passing OR the good UConn defense depending on how you want to see it was important to the outcome as it got AL out of rhythm. Hold your head up high TEAM, it was beautifully done through this tournament.
All heads up to the players and fans! You had an phenominal year and exceeded all expectations. We came out a little short on this one but no reason to be down. YOU put bama basketball in the spotlight and believe Coach Oats will keep us there going forward. Looking for more great things to come. ROLL TIDE!!

They were predicted to finish near the bottom. Got to final four and played the best team in America very well.

You can see none of the players is crying or disappointed even tho they lost but UConn is just good can’t take that away but this team is hungry to run it back , you can’t keep Oats out the tournament
Its sad to say but winning brings the fans. I will be a Bama fan win or lose. ALWAYS.... And yes of course we can be a football school and a basketball school. We already are.

If everyone who has more eligibility comes back next year, they will for sure attract some really good transfers who want to play in that system. Look out next year
unfortunately there can only be 13 scholarship players ona team, so if sears and nelson came back Oats may have to tell walters and wague to transfer out to make room for the new guys....gonna be tough to maneuver
Every team has a weakness , you just have to find the other teams weakness . No matter how could the other is. , they have a weakness you just have to find what their weakness is ...

Keep those heads up. Man it’s hard to beat a big man when they never call a foul on him. But they are good and we have no reason to hang our heads.

Besides Nelson getting thrown around like a rag doll . Why did we stop shooting the three ball in the second half. You can’t drive to the basket against a tall team.
Because UConn is a great defensive team and their strategy was to run Alabama off the 3 point line. Did you watch the game? Alabama's shooters weren't passing on open 3 point shots.
Hard to get transition when you need to work so hard to keep UConn off the glass.they haven't won 11 straight tourney games by double digits by luck.
I couldn’t agree more with the PRIDE CONSENSUS IN THESE PLAYERS AND COACHES. THESE KIDS (young men) are both really good basketball players and really good human beings. So their families should be just as proud of their sons’ class representation of the University of Alabama as they are of their basketball skills.

Bama was 8 of 11 on 3-pointers and then they decided to try and get layups on a 7'2" superstar instead of continuing to shoot 3s. They should have shit 60 3s. That's the only reason they lost
Yes UConn.had nothing to do with it. Even though the bama coaches and players said UConn chased them off the line. Its almost like UConn watched film and had some idea how to defend the 3 and had one or two decent players to put the plan into effect
And when they were 8 for 22 5hey were STILL losing.
Learn something about basketball tourist. UConn is a great defensive team and their game plan was to run Alabama's perimeter shooters off the 3 point line, which everybody knew it would be. If Alabama had shot 60 3's they would have gotten 30 of them blocked.
@Don-md6wn you probably eat meth for breakfast. The FACT that Bama was 8 of 11 in the 1st half shows that UConn either DIDN'T plan to run Bama off the 3-point line, or they COULDN'T. UConn didn't run Bama off the the 3-point line, rather, Bama decided to complete abandon their game plan BEFORE halftime and they started driving and challenging that 7 footer like idiots. They could have kept hitting 3s and running the score up on UConn...
@@paidtourist6563 How did you get to be this stupid? Oats said he wanted them to shoot at least 35 3's and would have been fine with 50 if the defense allowed it, but UConn ran them off the line.
