Proraso Red, AOS, Fine accoutrements, And Stirling all have wonderful Sandlewoods I just picked up Vanilla Sandlewood and Sharp dressed man a few days ago
Hi Kevy- Very nice shave and review of the AOS sandalwood cream; thank you! I really enjoy using Kai blades- they seem to peak for me in the Rockwell 6S. I hope your weekend has gotten off to a great start. All the best, Kevy!
That's my favorite razor! I have five razors obviously with different aggression, but I always go back to him my Merkur 34 C and with the Gillette Sputnik I always had the best BBS. Great shave Levy, thank you always for sharing your experience.
I gave up on different razors . I use my merkur 38c most of the time now . I always get a good shave . Different blades . They all work great in it . I am not falling into the shave trap . Lol
I applaud you on being able,to,stick to just one razor. I like to try different ones out. But if I had to keep just one, it'd be the Rockwell 6S. Kevy 👍
Excellent shave Kevy. Sandalwood is such a good scent, sweet but manly. AOS is expensive in the states too. The Merkur 34 is a great razor for beginners as well as seasoned shavers. Fine aftershave's simple ingredients list is a plus really, a nice finish to the shave. Great video again and chat, thanks. Enjoy!
Shave of the Gods. I’m disappointed you didn’t use the matching pre shave oil ! My first DE which I still use (I don’t collect so my supply is limited) Muehle R89 grande. Never owned a 34C Great idea on getting the adjustable. Fingers crossed I should have my model T by next month!
I have the lemon pre shave but the store didn't have any Sandalwood pre shave oil when I was there. The wait goes on for the Model T...can't wait to hear what you think when it gets to you. Cheers. Kevy 👍
That's the Love Hearts version of carex. I thought I should tune into my feminine side! Lol! Maximum 3 shaves per blade then it goes into the blade bank. Cheers. Kevy 😀
Good evening Kevy! I am really enjoying your Sandalwood September shaving soap series. Oh, you better pay De Niro quickly...if you watch Good Fellas, you will get the idea of what can happen for non-payment. How do you rate the post-shave feel from the AOS Cream? I like the TOBS and CF creams; they deliver a great post-shave feel...soft and smooth. Thank you again for the entertain shave!
Hi Todd. De Niro will never do,e knocking on my door in this rough neighbourhood! Lol! Post shave feel from AOS cream is ok, nothing special, average at best. Cheers. Kevy 😀
You said it! "A razor is a razor..." And when people talk about "upgrading" or taking a step up, in my opinion, it's a complete fallacy! Yes, a particular razor might be made of premium materials and have luxurious hand feel and ornate appearance but in terms of being a "upgraded" shaver...not so much. If the razor is good it's good. If the razor is bad is it's bad. Price, looks and aesthetics are not a valid indicator. I am on a bit of a rant(not at you!)but at the attitudes and sheer ignorance of so many novices in wet shaving...I started out with a No Name DE safety razor and did not get around to acquiring a Mekur 34 and a Edwin DE89 until AFTER I had been shaving several years. So, when a newbie starts out with a Mekur 34 C then gets it into his head he needs to upgrade for the sake of upgrading...(cue eye roll )....It sets my teeth(the few that are left) on edge...
Yes, a razor is a razor and they all will do the same thing - cutting whiskers with a blade inserted in them. If a razor is good or bad or not depends on the person who is using it. That's why this hobby is so diverse and interesting. For example, some people will say the Merkur Futur is a great razor, I couldn't get along with it so I sold it. Life is about trying things out to gain experience. I wouldn't like to have pasta for dinner every day. Sure it'll give me nutrients and energy but there's a ton of other things out there to try and it would be boring to eat that every day. I guess it's the same with razors. I think that's what most shavers mean when they say "upgrade". The world has gone mad, everyone wants everything now, now, now - I'm like that sometimes too, and I know I was when I first started out shaving this way! I applaud you for having the patience and determination not to get sucked down the rabbit hole and sticking with one razor when you started out. However, I think when most newbies start shaving this way, they think that an upgrade to a different razor made from better materials or whatever that might be, will give them a better shave. That might well be the case. It might not. Like I always say, the only way to find out if something works for you or not, is to try it out for yourself. Great comment by the way. Cheers. Kevy 👍
“From renowned creators of such classics as The Beard Hunter, and the executive genius behind Raging Blade, to the brilliant director of Cartridge Land comes a Kevy Shaves production of Robert DeNiro in Goodfeathers! What do you mean I'm a funny guy, ha? Funny, how. Do I look like I use cartridge razors to you!?"

Ha ha! I like to make more than is needed! That way I'll hopefully get through my soaps and creams quicker! Remember...LILYHI -Load It Like You Hate It! 😂 Cheers. Kevy 👍
The Art of shaving stores are in the malls in the US and sell the most expensive products on the market...20 to 40% mark up on average...their sales persons are very sexy women ...but i always stop in any way....its like a pet store and they let you play with their puppies...and the dogs are nice too...lol...I always buy something...good shave Kevy
You really do not need to waste money on a pre shave . Just lather up lightly. Apply a wet hot towel for a minute. Wipe off . Then lather up to shave . It works great.

He was ok with it 😀

Great shave. No shave in September is complete without a good sandalwood shave because that's what the theme for this month is all about

Robert, that was a Fantastic shave with Fantastic Products. You can get the AOS via Amazon but it is not cheap Mr De Nero !!
You talkin' to me?! 😂
Shave of the Gods. I’m disappointed you didn’t use the matching pre shave oil !
My first DE which I still use (I don’t collect so my supply is limited) Muehle R89 grande.

Your lady is taking over the bathroom with the pink carex? Also how many times do you use the same blade?
That's the Love Hearts version of carex. I thought I should tune into my feminine side! Lol! Maximum 3 shaves per blade then it goes into the blade bank. Cheers. Kevy 😀

Hiding purchases, that's true. The vendors should provide a plain brown box option.
That's a great idea. 😀
Great nero shave kevy I am thinking what Mrs kevy says about that face
She laughs at it! 😂
Great Shave Buddy! 💈😁🤙🏼💈
Hi Kevy can you tell me were you bought the flash boredom shaving bowl, Thanks

😂😂
“Badgers? We don’t need no stinking badgers!”

Thanks Chuck. I would say the scent is about 6.5/10 strength when it's lathered. Kevy 👍
thanks for the information
Always perfect your video
Rather than De Niro, I thought that looked like Capt. Kurtz from the movie Apocalypse Now. Cheers.
You're probably right! Lol! Cheers. Kevy 👍
