  • iRVision "No-Cal" - robot.fanucamerica.com/product...
iRVision No-Cal is a simpler version of iRVision which allows only a Calibration-Free vision process. No calibration tools are provided with iRVision No-Cal, only camera setup and the Calibration-Free vision process. An upgrade option is available to get full 2D iRVision if at some point the application requires more tools. With a calibration-free vision process, calibrating the camera is not necessary, nor is teaching any user frames or tool frames. No-Cal will work with a robot mounted camera to locate a part for picking, and with a fixed mounted camera for generating a tool offset for a part already being held by the robot. This video explains how to setup an iRVision No-Cal application with a robot mounted camera for finding a part and picking it.

Great tutorial, but when I try on roboguide this doesn't work. Everytime I try to use the learn function in the setup IRvision or when I call the IRVhoming program, beside I placed more then 5 elements on the plane and in a random position, the following error occurs to me: CVIS- 659 did not converge. Could I have some feedback? Thank you
