Captive Screws - An Overview

Our range of specialist captive screws are designed to remain in place within an assembly or enclosure and typically has an unthreaded portion under the head called a reducer shank. The screw is stuck, which means it does not come out completely from the hole or it comes out when you disassemble the item. Captive screws provide permanent hold, and can still be removed from the installation, but only intentionally.
