Spain has different accents, though. People from Madrid, Canarias, Castilla and Andalusia speak differently. A pity they didn't include the accent from Sevilla (Andalusia) best one from Spain to me.
Peruvian Accent sounds nothing like Spanish accent. The culture is also very different. Maybe some similarities of course due to the history of the country , but in no way would I say it’s closely related to spain.

Really fun video!! But Spanish people from Spain don't have a lisp. Having a lisp is when you pronunce the letter S as a Z or C. People from latin America and some Spanish regions(Like Andalucia or Canary Islands) have something call Seseo(pronunciation of the letter C and Z as the letter S). The letter Z and C in Spanish should sound like the english "Th" sound like in "therapy". Example: The correct pronunciation of the word blue in spanish "Azul" would be "Athul" not "Asul" because the proper sound of the letter Z is the english "TH" not "S" as I said before. Latin American people have that Seseo because they were conquered by Spanish people mainly from the south(Spanish people from the south have that Seseo). Seseo is accepted and you can use it anyway. (And I'm not saying that having seseo is worse of something). You can speak spanish with or without seseo you choose. Every from of Spanish is beautiful.
Actually, our spanish is the most logical one, just because of the distinction (All of them are just as correct tho). Why do i think like that? Well, back into the 14/15th century, spanish had 6 distinct phonemes for sibilants: [ts, dz],[s, z] and [ʃ, ʒ]. /ts/ and /dz/ sound like the italian "z" in "pizza" (both are almost identical) /s/ sounds just like the spanish "s" and /z/ like the french "s" (for example in the word "maison") And the last couple: /ʃ/ sounds like the french "ch" and /ʒ/ like the french "j". So, what happened? Each couple of phonemes were so similar that they decided to stick with one of them, the voiceless (this is called the spanish sibilant redistribution). So it ended like this: /ʦ/, /s/ and /ʃ/. But the problem persisted, there was a minimun difference between the three. The words "caça [catsa]" (hunting), "casa" (house) and "caxa [casha]", (box) were usually confused and people had to be really careful at the time of pronouncing them. The solution they managed to find was to bring forward the dental's point of articulation (/ts/-> /θ/), and to postpone the post-alveolar's one (/ʃ/ -> /x/). [All of this took years btw]. The problem was finally solved. Spanish speakers could distinguish perfectly between now "caza [catha]", "casa" and "caja [caha]". But not all Spain used that solution. Some parts of the south prefered to just leave /ts/ and /s/ both as an /s/ (seseo), and some others (very few) prefered to do it the other way round: change /ts/ and /s/ to /θ/ (ceceo or lisp). As you can see, that doesn't look as clean as the general Spain's solution, because people could confuse "casa" with "caza" and viceversa (context always helps tho). Sorry for all this technicist speech lol, just wanted to tell what I know about this to someone who understand that spanish people DO NOT LISP (only a few, which is as correct as the rest accents, I repeat). I get always tired of these people, tbh.

Eva Ruiz Pereira he conocido españoles de Galician, Madrid y algun lugar al sur de España (no recuerdo donde) y to my foreign ears who just picked up Spanish por un año y media, I still can't different them yet. Pero es mas facil to differentiate the whole group to accento de american latinos. At least to my personal experience. (As someone who is learning spanish, I would appreciate if someone can translate my whole comment to spanish so I can learn. Thank you 😇)
You can see Spain has "conquered" a lot of places wow, I never realized this many countries speak Spanish. And Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, etc etc were missing, so many countries omg.
Here in Spain they celebrate the hispanity day. It representates the greatness the country acquired with colonisation, and it's just wrong. Why celebrate a genocide? Embrace your culture latinos!!
+August L Really? I find it rather sad that you never bothered to google out of sheer curiosity in the first place what countries spoke Spanish. 21 countries speak it, which means, almost the entire American continent. It is also the 2nd most spoken language on Earth after Mandarin (number of native speakers).
Be more focused when you read comments, I knew all those countries speak Spanish, it just never hit me there are so many. I've been to Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Uruguay, don't worry, I know they speak spanish.
Yeah. And people don’t realize exactly how many Spaniards immigrated to the America’s. There’s more Spanish/portugués DNA in Latin America than any other DNA.
Andrés Bello was Venezuelan so I don't get your point... every country has their own philologists, you are just mad Mexico was not in the video like get over yourself
Guy from Chile, I have never heard a Chilean person speak like that. I met a lot of them in Toronto but they all spoke very fast, I never understood what they were saying half the time. I like all the women in the video they all look very witty and very good looking. Great Video
Neptune Consus Please tell me you are joking. I'm from Sevilla and we know how to speak, in Andalucía we speak an "advanced" spanish because we say more speaking less. Of course for an amateur in spanish is hard to speak with an Andaluz but we we dont have to fix anything.
The Venezuelan guy put emotion into what he said. I would have picked him or the Colombian, coz his voice was deep but the accent so harder to tell if it was the accent or the voice.
PLEASE, American Spanish speaking countries have different and very rich cultures apart from Spain. Calling their cultures 'Spanish' is like saying that Australia, the USA or Canada have an 'English' culture. Obviously there are many things in common and in Spain we're proud of our links with latinos, who are fantastic and hard-working people, but they have different cultures. Thanks.

es el acento del porno
Eva Ruiz Pereira okay yours isn’t bad it’s a lot more chill
Eva Ruiz Pereira he conocido españoles de Galician, Madrid y algun lugar al sur de España (no recuerdo donde) y to my foreign ears who just picked up Spanish por un año y media, I still can't different them yet. Pero es mas facil to differentiate the whole group to accento de american latinos. At least to my personal experience.
(As someone who is learning spanish, I would appreciate if someone can translate my whole comment to spanish so I can learn. Thank you 😇)
Colombia and Dominican Republic 😍 Jesus help me 😍😍

Colombia carajo
Dominican Republic and COLOMBIA rules
You can see Spain has "conquered" a lot of places wow, I never realized this many countries speak Spanish. And Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, etc etc were missing, so many countries omg.
Here in Spain they celebrate the hispanity day. It representates the greatness the country acquired with colonisation, and it's just wrong. Why celebrate a genocide? Embrace your culture latinos!!
I totally agree... hope I get to know more people with your our opinion:)
VENEZUELA AND SPAIN *HEART EYES*
Andrés Bello was Venezuelan so I don't get your point... every country has their own philologists, you are just mad Mexico was not in the video like get over yourself

I'd say that the sexiest latin accent would be Colombia and Domican republic.

Guy from Chile, I have never heard a Chilean person speak like that. I met a lot of them in Toronto but they all spoke very fast, I never understood what they were saying half the time. I like all the women in the video they all look very witty and very good looking. Great Video

jhon Ledesma I'v been in Andalusya and Madrid and people speaks really strange in Sevilla for example. The need to go to school to fix this.
Neptune Consus Please tell me you are joking. I'm from Sevilla and we know how to speak, in Andalucía we speak an "advanced" spanish because we say more speaking less. Of course for an amateur in spanish is hard to speak with an Andaluz but we we dont have to fix anything.
Alfon 25 that demostrates how fucking ignorant you are
Am from Madrid and I have to admit that best ascent in Spain that sounds good to me is from Andalucía , the way they speak and talk is just too cute

The Venezuelan guy put emotion into what he said. I would have picked him or the Colombian, coz his voice was deep but the accent so harder to tell if it was the accent or the voice.

Geli Agosto gotta love my country and my people. Dominican Republic is the best. 🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴
Puerto Rican accents are my first though because I gotta represent 🇵🇷🇵🇷
Geli Agosto PR AND RD
PLEASE, American Spanish speaking countries have different and very rich cultures apart from Spain. Calling their cultures 'Spanish' is like saying that Australia, the USA or Canada have an 'English' culture. Obviously there are many things in common and in Spain we're proud of our links with latinos, who are fantastic and hard-working people, but they have different cultures. Thanks.
Completely Agree! Saludos! 😊🇺🇸🇲🇽
I already liked dominican republic...then he came out with subeme la radio 😍
