Definitely add oil to the shocks. I did that and went with some OGRC wheels with brass rings from Amazon and the Injora "hyrax-like" tires and it made a huge difference. I used 30wt TLR oil.
Could comparison 👍🏻 My thoughts: Put the brass ring of the wheels just into the front wheels and use aluminuim ones for the back. I do this all the time with the injora wheels.

You should also test the side hill improvement. Just a thought .

I think a lil more shock tuning as well and it would hit 50 degrees, just a thought! Nice test. Cheers

The brass inner outer portable boxes is what I went with with mofo RC super deep dish aluminum bead lock rims And is performing great
