    I followed the directions but they turned out a sticky gooey mess. I used the Mochiko Sweet rice flour? would that make a difference.

      i guess mochiko rice flour is a glutinous rice flour... use a plain rice flour... or you can grind a plain rice grains

    Tanong lang po gusto kung mag try gagawa, kaso lang wala akong steamer, pwede ba sa electric stove ko gagawin, mayroon akong turkey pan lagyan ko ng tubig at sa oven ko gagawin instead sa apoy

      Mas maganda kaldero na lang may tubig lagyan nyo lang ng something sa ilalim na hindi lulubog... steaming method lang po ang pwede dito...

    sir gagamitin ba ng sabay ung baking powder at instant dry yeast? o alin lang sa dalawa na pwede rin gamitin

      Di ko na masyado matandaan ito... i think nagkamali ako dito pero ok naman ang result na puto kasi konti lang naman yong baking powder... the correct is... 1 tsp instant dry yeast or you may use 1 tbsp baking powder... hindi yong sabay... sorry for the confusions... thank you for watching and calling my attention.

    Ilang minutes po ba gawin ang roux to get the right consistency?

      Kapag naging translucent or clear na magiging sticky na yan at luto na.... cguro mga 3 minutes over medium heat... the roux will make the puto soft even if it is cold already... thank you for watching. God bless.

      Angel instant dry yeast medyo mahirap hanapin yong sachet isang gamitan lang... kung sa palengke ka bibili i test mo muna kung active pa yong yeast... or pwede ka naman gumamit ng baking powder hindi na kailangan i ferment yong mixture
